What Students Say

Likes

Culture , they don't ask to wear formals or force us to come in a certain attire , students have lots of freedom .
Lots and lots of extra caricular activities and events are organised regularly to keep youth active in college events

Dislikes

Fees , the fees is very high that it cannot be affordable for middle class people like me , instead we apply loans and have to study here

Course Curriculum Overview

The freedom to choose between and software and hardware makes this group special for me They often conduct workshops , they have separate workshop.set up in the college where student can work for their project , and they often conduct interaction session with students Don't need any improve ment in teaching method If your good at your studies rather than bunking classes and focus properly its easy to crack every exam and semester

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 275000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Amazon - first comes internship and then full time will be based on performance Cisco - Internship and then full-time based on performance + 1 Full time offer for 1 best candidate Their are many projects done by students itself

Placement Experience

3rs semester Amazon , Google , etc Most of the people without any arrears get offers easily and get placed Highest is about 5 cr and avg is about 7 LPA 50% OF STUDENTS ALMOST GET PLACED To do master degeree in abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees has been increased by 25,000 this year , for first yr btech for ECE the fees is 2,75,000/- and 10,000 for registration fees, and for the next 3 years we have to pay 2,75,000 consecutively, so the for 4 years it will be about 11,10,000/-

The annual tech fest Rhapsody Pragathi Convocation ceremony Srm have very huge library and great book arranged in perfect combination and permutation We have smart board availability, ac class rooms and great seating availablity Sports for btech students doesnot have that interaction Their are many clubs like dancing singing gaming etc

Admission

Should be above 70% in 12 th grade No reservation is available for sc/St caste people , there is no reservation at all Perfect Direct 1-1 admission is better because of the seats are provided through third party people the donation they demand is equal to the course fees

Faculty

Faculty members are very friendly and good towards us , and they give first preference to students than teachers inside the campus , The ratio is of faculty-to-students about 1:25 in SRM KTR CAMPUS We can interact during our classes and can even interact with faculty after the classes also

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Chose SRM University mainly because of its strong reputation in engineering, excellent infray,and placement opportunities.I has applied to a few other private universities like VIT Vellore and Manipal University.while I did get a confirmed admission from one,i felt SRM had a more vibrant campus life,better connectivity to Chennai City, and a strong alumni network. The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
