Remarks

College management is good and strict like a school. I was satisfied overall because all i need is placement and I got 2 from my college. So according to my experience college was okay in every field. The only problem was lack of cultural events but okay now i am fine with it.

Entrance Preview

I have given the IIT-JEE, AIEEE and UPTU entrance examination. I don't got good rank in IIT and AIEEE and through UPTU counselling I got this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course Structure is good. They provide the good theoretical knowledge but they lack somehere in providing practical knowledge. DAA, DBMS, Data Structure all these subjects are important and so they taught us but did not provide LAB for the same. According to University the course curriculum is okay, but the main thing is more uyou study the better you get.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any kind of internship but yes they provide training in various technical subjects like Java, Oracle, Android, Big Data, Embeded and many more. Experience in those training classes was fine, I got so many things there but yeah practical implementation lack there also.

Placement Experience

5

Placement is very good of this college. I would like to say that the placement is near about 100 percent. All of my friends and close one got the job. There were so many companies came to our campus. Last year approximately 140 companies came to our campus. Minimum package was 2.8LPA and Maximum was 6LPA average package was 3.33LPA, some of the companies that came last year were TCS, Virtusa, Infogain, Infostrech, IBM, Dell, HCL, Prolifics, Open Box and many more.

College Events

3.5

There were few technical events like coding contest, Anyone can participate in that from any college, They are at big level contest. Many of the college sdutent participate in that. In case of cultural event, my college does not celebrate much. Only normal and formality is done. We dont even get the freshers party but we got farewell, Management event is also not so popular.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is high for a middle class family student to afford. In my time it was ?1,33,750 in first year and then ?1,13,650 in rest of the year. It is not the same everytime, it also depends on the university terms and condition but yes it is approximately ?2,00,000 including hostel. And yes they charge some extra fee for the uniform, which is necessary to wear as like in school.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was FEE WAVER category which was opt at the time of counselling itself, Those whose parent income is less tha few amount ( I dont know exactly) can get that. And those who dont know about this at that time they got scholarship from the university by applying for it.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is like 3:2 i.e. for every 3 boys there were 2 girls. Campus life was boring, no any extra curricular activities were provided. Few workshop were provided. And there is no such problem regarding gender, race, religion, sexual orientation and politics.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I dont live in hostel because of their too many restriction so my group took a PG in Alpha 2 and we four live their. Monthly rent of that PG was ?10,000 and ?600 per head was taken by cook. Approximately monthly ?8,000 to ?12,000 required to survive their.

Alumni/Alumna

Interaction of junior and seniors is too less. Faculty does not provide interaction between them so we dont find fit in this situation. So everyone mind their own's business. But if u go and ask for help then for the sake of humanity most of them help you out.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is tough. I mean there were regular exam i.e. three times in each semester, First sessional, Second sessional and then Pre-University Test(PUT). Labs was like chill out, no one cares for the labs. All the three exams are mandatory for all the student but if you miss any one out of first two then it is also okay. But don't miss the third one, otherwise you ll get poor internal marks.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of 1st year is too good. They have interest in their jobs, they all taught us with full dedication and so the result comes out from 1st year. But as we grown up their interest vanishes. In 2nd year, they taught us but faculty was not so good, as all the faculty members of 2nd year was like new teachers. Faculty of 3rd and 4th year was same and they were also like just pass out student of M.Tech.

Placement Experience:

Government organizations like Cisr and Syneos Health are major conglomerate where we are placed. Still with lesser students we are not places that high and it's a shame because such a great university but still placements are in a way less as other branches have. 4-5 lakhs is what offered to Biotechnology students of IILM.

Students of 3rd and 4th year are eligible for placements. More than 150 companies offered 750+ Jobs. Almost 70% of the students in my branch has been placed. Highest package offered was 9PLA and the lowest was 3LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, PTC, Cleartrip, Jinko Contraction, GENX Consultancy Services, Airtel, CIty Union Bank, Emerson, Asix Bank and many more. Some of the students have taken the placement and some of them were invited to internship from 20k stipend to 40k stipend. If the student doesn't get college placement, he need to apply off campus for jobs. I will try to join a good job or start my own startup idea.
