Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course description on the website was pretty vague but if you choose to do design from presidency first year would be very boring and long but by the second semester it gets better and harder you realise the value of time and to complete the assignments on a given note the jury is strict yet friendly, the exams are mostly taken in jury's

Placement Experience

3

I have no idea about placements so far but the graduates that I've seen were placed in high end companies like wipro and mostly were from communication design, I'd like to say that the placements only work when you work hard enough

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of bachelors of design in communication design and for all other specialisations is 2.5 lakhs the course is of four years and if we take that it will be 10 lakhs for four years the fee structure is not gonna increase for now and for upcoming 2-3 years. the financial aid depends on if you have availed more than 80 percent in your boards or the 12 exams plus you can get other scholarships through bank accounts and the university provides the financial student aid to students who have given the documents which states that the parents are having a hard time to afford it but it's only for particular departments

Campus Life

3.5

The college happens to have a fest called INVINCIA every year in which they call up big artists recently raftar and dhvani came, the clubs are wide and there are multiple clubs and if you join one they are strict on every Friday you have attend the club on club hours which is from 2 to 4, the sports facilities are good they have really good seats in that, the class rooms are quite okay, still in building and in process, you can make friends very easily

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostels are so bad at presidency in a city like Bangalore they have a curfew of 6, the menu in the hostel has wide range of variety but the taste is so bad, you get half cooked chapatis or water like lentils, I just rented a pg after staying in hostel for 1 year and it's 10 times better than what I've come from, the wardens in the boys hostel and friendly.

Admission

I applied for the course through the website and then one of the counsellors called me we talked through the process and the eligibility was 12+ with abouve 50% the exam difficulty is that you need to be quick and witty with your answers the longer time you take the less marks or less aura you give off

Faculty

4

The faculty ratio is 55% to 67% student the faculty is very friendly and helpful they provide you with proper guidance and skills, I would have left this college if the faculty was not this good, I interact with faculty most of the time I'd say all the time, they are very good and the faculty is well known to the industry and is ready to deal with situations beforehand

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.

All subject professors are well qualified and experienced faculty and very friendly approach and guide us till we complete our course with good knowledge and give us best guidance for career in future and exams are conducted on mentioned time with very strict rules. It was little difficult but the teaching method helped to go through exams and get gud marks. Negative is only the extra charged v have to spend for projects and other rather than our yearly fee. Rest all gud.
