Dislikes
- There are no cons exactly but the campus being a big building and lacking a football ground and other stuff makes the college dull.
- Campus is located in a very packed area and a one way road being a minor inconvenience.

Internships Opportunities
The department of internship for our batch is extremely supportive and even though in the first few days itself I kept approaching them, they guided me and connected me to an event management company called Shubharambh and suggested I start my internship from the third semester as it will not entangle with my college hours and won't affect my attendance in that way. The stipend offered at Shubharambh is 5000Rs/Month and will see changes accordingly to the work.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester and the highest package of 2023 was around 42 Lakh Per Annum. and the average was somewhere around 6.20 Lakh Per Annum. I intend to pursue a career in event management after this degree and there are a lot of good event companies having a tie-up with our college and which makes me look forward to utilizing every opportunity I see. 93.41% of students got placed in 2023.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college as of my knowledge so far does not have any scholarship schemes and for the course Bachelor Of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication is 1,79,375 rs and I have opted for the Liquid Loan option which was suggested by the college administration as they have a tie-up with LiquiLoan. I pay monthly installments to LiquiLoan of 25,625rs for 7 months and since it is interest-free it's a good scheme for all students.
Campus Life
Beginning the Programmes of the year with a Fresher's Day the College includes Various Club Activities like Media Fest Team, Toastmasters, Model United Nations, Sports Team, etc. There are many events that are conducted in and around the college like Khelo India 2023 was conducted in our college and we have had famous icons coming over to the college like Sir Irrfan Khan, Samyuktha Hegde, Manoj Bajpayee, etc.

Our Faculty is one of the finest group of mentors being well established and organized, they are super friendly and approachable for all. They are open to listening to the student's take on a certain topic and understand us better. Well, the faculties is so much fun and approachable they are always available at an appropriate time and place.
Interview Experience
I was late to the procedure of admission so I only went through a round of an interview on a Zoom meeting, where she asked me to introduce myself and speak about my life and interest in this course and college. She then asked me a lot of general questions and tested my knowledge in event management and finally asked me to speak about a topic for around 5 minutes and was allowed to think through it before I began. I felt under prepared before the meeting but then eventually I received my admission letter.
Other Applied Colleges
Manipal Academy of Higher Education - [MAHE] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Media and Communication)
I found JAIN's fees much more affordable than Manipal and also from a word of mouth i found out that Manipal is overrated and Jain had a good placement package as well.
