Entrance Preview

I choose IT because I like coding, Database and networking stuff . IT industries are growing so there are many job opportunities as well as research opportunities . I gave only college level exams but I am preparing for other exams like CAT .

Course offered at VSIT are excellent also college offers some research paper presentations ,and competition promoting research.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, My college provides summer internships for all courses (Bsc,Baf,Bbi etc.).Last many companies came to offer internships to students . Mainly Wipro, TCS ,L&T came for placements.

Placement Experience

The placements are good at VSIT also VSIT have placement cell for insuring each student should be get opportunity to prove himself/herself . This year TCS, Wipro, L&T came for placements and the package offered by them was roughly between 1.75L to 2.55L .

College Events

Here we have NSS,Student Council ,Extension unit ,CSI ,Entrepreneur Cell so here we have lots of events . Cultural event is Maai Marathi and college fests are VIGOUR and VERVE .

Faculty

All the faculty is available in campus and the teach excellent . Here I am an IT student so for IT the faculty is well qualified and focus on knowledge base teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

Placement Experience:

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.

My days in VSIT

VSIT was on top in my priority list. I applied in various different colleges but VSIT was my dream college a because of it's facilities and facilities. It was mine first list when I got selected in VSIT, so there wasn't any rejection from anyone. Admission process is pretty simple of VSIT based on cutoffs but there is a different eligibility criteria for BAMMC course as they don't go with the cutoff scheme.
