Course Curriculum Overview

I was really confused between BMS or BFM. I surely want to learn and work in finance industry but I didn't know what to choose as BFM is only Finance and BMS has options of marketing, HR and Finance. So even if i wanted to change stream it would be very easy for me to do so compared to BFM. I don't think the difficulty of my course will be of any help because of NEP (new education policy)

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 65000 per year and it has increased to 67000 now. Fees for the first year you'll have to pay through one time payment of whole 67000. From second year you can start installment payments with time period of 6months.

Campus Life

You get a variety of clubs at vidhyalankar. Like you have everything you need and want. For example I'm in a music club and recently our event was held at shanmukhanand hall. So the clubs are also a big advantage you get for exploring more and if you do well you might reach to places as the events are top notch. But if you think you you're gonna get the best freshers party, forget about it. You'll regret the time you gave for freshers party if you come. About sports. There's a huge variety again. Basketball, valleyball, cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, carrom, chess, baseball, etc

Admission

I had an option between KJ Somaiya and Vidyalankar. I chose Vidyalankar because I wanted to explore more and gets out of the same crowd and same faces. But if you don't know anyone in either of them, definitely go for KJ Somaiya there's no comparison excluding the faculties ig

The faculties are the greatest over here and most of them are so so helpful. They will help you in every possible way they can. You just have to be in the good books. Few of the facilities are ofc really annoying.

Night Life

I would say you won't go out the college. Atleast not near by because the place our college is at is really pathetic. Inside the college you have several places to hangout. My favourite in amphitheatre which is exactly in front of Den. Outside the college there are few cafes and restaurants like Theobroma, subway, and a few more but I don't think so you'll have to go out the college to eat because we have CCD and Nescafe and also Ribbons and balloons inside our college and the canteen has the best fast food you'll have

Campus placements are okay and mid. Don't expect higher packages like over 7 LPA; the highest was, I think, 6 LPA. Most are campus placements, and the companies coming in are mid-tier too. Not expecting much from here, though.
