Likes
- The labs in BPIT are well-equipped with modern instruments and software. They provides a hands on learning environment. Teachers are good the faculties at BPIT are experienced and well qualified they are dedicated to providing quality education.
- The library at BPIT is extensive and well maintained , offering a wide range of books , journals and research papers. The library is fully airconditioned . The library also provides access to digital resources through PC which are installed in it
- The average CTC is around LPA . CSE and IT departments have good placement opportunity . There are various technical and non technical societies in which you can enroll and learn new skills . We also have a fest named Malhaar which is of 2 days.
Dislikes
- Campus area is relatively small as compared to some other institutes . There is no boys hostel it is for girls only . Sometimes they create issues regarding attendance.
- The placement scenario for the electrical engineering department is not promising, with almost zero placement. Students interested in pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering might find this lack of placement opportunities concerning.
- Placement for electronics department is average because some companies allows them while some do not , mostly companies come here for CSE and IT . The college has very less opportunities for students of EEE but ECE is better than EEE.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Curricullum is realted to real world . there are subjects like Analog electronics , analog communications, Digitial Communications , Microelectronics , Digital Signal Processing , Transmission Lines , waves and antennas etc. the are of improvement in curriculum i think the college should focus more onpractical application of things not just theory although there is an incubation center in which students make project related to electronics. But most of the students are studying only to pass the exam . in each semester we have one mid sem exam of 30 marks it is not very hard and we have one final exam of 75 marks the level of final exam is medium to hard. 25 marks are given by college on the basis of mid sem exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
They have increased the tution fee for 2nd time in a row . Now the fee for new comers is about 1 lakh 58 thousand . in which tution fee is 132900 and university charges are 20000 and miscellaneous is about 5000 . There are some scholarships the college itself reduces some fee if you are coming from economic weaker section . Second there is a scolarship of Delhi govt in which 100 percent tution fee is refunded provided your income should not exceed 3 LPA and you should have an income certificate . Third there is a schloraship from University in which you should have an NFS card and they refund 30 to 40 thouand of fee. there are some more terms and conditions but I have mentioned the important ones.
Campus Life
The is a culutural and technical fest named Malhaar . In which there are many competitions related to dance , singing and technology. last time it was on 30 November and 1st December 2023 . The fest continues for 2 days . There are vast variety of books and journals in the library and you can access them without any restriction. Classrooms are equiped with a projector and a white screen on which teachers can present any presentation. There are many sports like basketball , football , cricket , volleyball . There are many culitural and technical socities like hashdefine , namespace , IEEE in which students can go and learn some skills . There are socities for dance , music and oher extra curricular activites also like mavericks , Drishtu etc.
Admission
For Btech. the admissions are based on JEE mains rank. You have to appear for the JEE mains exam and admission will be based on your CRL . there is reservation only for EWS and Defence quota. JEE mains is conducted 2 times in an year and the level is Hard. If you are scoring 90 - 95 percentile in JEE mains . I guess you will get CSE or IT in this college.
Faculty
There are 60 students in each class ann one faculty . The faculties are experienced and they give quality education to the students . they are always ready to solve the doubts of the students regarding any thing . We can interact with them whenever we want . We can connect to them virtually or we can go in their staff room to ask anything.
