Likes

Well disciplined and talented teachers and a variety of student clubs to encourage students to focus on entrepreneurship
Playground and other modern sports equipments provide exceptional facilities for sports activities
A large and beautiful college of 450 acres is the main highlight which helps in the bonding of students

Dislikes

Delay in exams and results is the main problem
No good lab facilities for computer students

The fee for a merit seat is 37500 and for management is 77500 and nri is 105000 They provide us with lots of scholarship opportunities and other caste-based financial assistance, even from the first year onwards they provide with all these

The overall experience of our campus is very good i have made some good friends and did some funny and exciting things with them lot of cultural and techno programs with promote not only our college but also the students of many talents

Kerala entrance admission exam was the selection process and it is based on the entrance exam mark and your plus two mark the admission was smooth with was done thtough keam portal and went as planned

Faculty

The faculty members are higly talented and qualified ,they teach very well and encourage us in studies. They provide us with valuable insights about lots of topics and other things We interact with them most of the time they too are not shy to interact with the students

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.
