Course Curriculum Overview

4

We are taught in all levels... Knowledge based... Memory based... Application based.... Etc... this will impact us to learn in all levels n also prepare us for the outer world. The course materials should be upgraded... There is no proper explanation for any of their topics in their given materials. So for the better understanding of students they should improvise that Difficulty level of exams is actually on the right spot... Last part of the question is only fr application based questions which can be solved only if we know the concepts. And we have exams only twice... Mid sem and end sem... This has its own pros and cons

Internships Opportunities

4

In the frst two years we cover two projects(all cse students) one using Arduino board and the other using raspberry pi board. This will engage us in coding and implementing that in other fields also. They have set Guinness World record also this year by setting a record of 5000 students making unique raspberry pi projects. Comming to internships... We have been provided with huge number of opportunities..mostly we have international internships for many countries like Switzerland.. Taiwan and many more. This will encourage all the students to apply fr more internships like that

Placement Experience

4

As of now there has been no much major placements... Most of the people who r worthy are the only ones who's getting placed. Seeing that the institution has started giving training for all the students about placements. Preparing them for all the rounds. We r likely eligible for placements for the last year i.e 7th sem As of now the highest package that somone has got is around 6-7 lpa. This is increasing every year. My plans after degree would surely be a good job if incase that dosent work i would look for masters in UK

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such increase in tution fee... The amount you pay fr frst year will remain the same fr all the years. They might even give discounts but never hike them. I joined this college via kcet councelling so my yearly fee is 91780 and additional 20000 as college fee. So total of 111780. And nothing extra after that unless we want to avail hostel or transport facility. There r few aids also to help people who can't pay the fee all together. As per scholarships there is only one from college fr the people who hv joined through management seat. Other scholarships are from the government like nsp and ssp. The campus takes up the students as interns and also pays them accordingly.. there is a place called launchpad which is specially made for entrepreneurs to build their idea

Campus Life

4.5

Campus Life in presidency University is awesome.. it's a vast college with 64 acres of land. Many areas where a friends group can chill around when there r no classes to attend. Many cafes n places to eat. There r huge basketball court, football court, volleyball ball court, and much more.. many indoor games like chess, table tennis etc. all necessary facilities for sports are provided. There are surely more than 25clubs in the college department student affair. Painting dancing singing and what not. This will encourage all kind of people to join one or the other club which is mandatory. Comming to infrastructure they look all posh type and are mod. Attracts students very easily. Gives a good environment for the students to study

Admission

The course I have choose was under a cutoff of 74,000 and I had 78000 rank. But somehow got the course In last round of kcet counseling. I had obc reservation of 2A which helped me majorly. Since I got alloted through kcet I did not find much difficulty in finding application form and to know about the fee. Kcet is an yearly exam which all the students who studied science in 12th can write and get college according to their ranks.

Faculty

3.5

There are both dumb and super good lectures. The good ones are most of the time approachable. They try using many examples to make the students understand about the concept.. Most of the lectures here are PhD holders. They have mastered the subjects that they Handel. There r enough faculties in the campus to Handel all the classes actually the ratio of student faculty is pretty good. We can approach our lectures anytime in their leisure hours. And their timetable is also set in such a way that they don't hv too many classes so tht they can interact with their students

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
