Likes

The infrastructure of vips is very well built, it has centralized ac in all three buildings.
Laborataries and computer centre gives best to students
College fest are best in ggsipu and even participate in multiple sports

Dislikes

Faculites are not so qualified, there own lecture ppt are download from internet
Some teachers are very rude for no reason, they just give marks student according to there behaviour towards them
75% attendence is mandatoary, if student below 75%, HOD call there parents for PTM and they talk face to face

Artificial intelligence and machine learning are just new branches of btech. And their demands have been shown much from last 3-4 years. Vips curriculum prepares well for artificial intelligence and machine learning. We studied subjects like the fundamentals of machine learning, the foundation of data science, Deep learning, Advances in deep learning, cryptography and network security, and many others.

unthinkable provided roles like, frontend developer, software engineer , web developer, digital marketing and offer stipend of 5k per month for 6 months. many students also get internships in drdo with no stipend for 6 months

Placement Experience

from 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. companies like Deloitte, unthinkable, and many more visited. As btech was introduced in vips in 2021. and i m 4th year student . my batch was the first batch , i had no seniors also. so i don't have details of highest or average package of btech in vips.

Fees and Financial Aid

right now i am 4th year student, in vips every year fees is increased by 10k. means in 1st year it was 1.32L and in 2nd year its 1,42 L and so on. No scholarships provided but i m not aware of any financial aid.

Campus Life

Annual and technical festivals are occured once in a year. Famous singers and comedians come. only 2-4 books allowed to issue for 15 days after that 5 rupees fine increases by every single day. projector and air-conditioned classrooms. sports like , kabbadi, basketball, badminton, table tennis, pool table., cricket , football and many others. ragging committee in college, environmental social groups and nutkkad natak society.

Admission

vips takes admission on the basis of jee rank. And management quota is also available. for AIML branch in 2021 eligibility was 1L+ ranks but don't aware 2024. same for Artificial intelligence and data science, and internet of things. After 2022 vips introduces one more branch i.e CSE

Faculty

As a btech student, I can tell about engineering block faculties. So, only 2-3 teachers are well-qualified and the rest just download some content from the internet make their PPT and just read their ppts in the classroom as a lecture, with no in-depth pieces of knowledge. even some of them don't provide any notes for the sem examination. All students have to study from YouTube.

Placement Experience:

Students are available to get placed starting sem 7, the placements of my college are great, it's fairly easy to get placed, most students get placed by the end of sem 8, Companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to our college, the highest placed student this year was 80 lakhs, all the companies mentioned above took atleast 4-10, students. Around 80% students are placed for sure, My plans after getting the degree is to become a content creator whole doing my job, trying to balance everything, also i have plans to start my own business

Placement Experience:

Placement offers are not that good, like if you're pursuing other courses than btech so the placement is good but in btech, tech companies don't come that often, so you have to develop your skills during your academics and apply offline for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.

Life and learning at ADGIPS

Course Curriculum Overview:

industry relevent topics like ai , python , oops, numpy ,pandas, sql , etc with balance with theory and also with maths good for job readliness in tech role because of sql , pandas and machine learnig like laguages in collage teachers are still using old studioes for programming they are not switching to vs studio and jupyter notebook like studios papers are moderate but they are too frequent like 2 mid tearm with externam practical and then end term and center of exams some time placed at very far place which is not good

DTU- a glimpse

Placement Experience:

The campus placements starts from the beginning of the 7th semester. The stats of the top-branches is quite good, more the 80 percent students who applied for the placements get offers. The major tech-companies like Google, Microsoft ,Amazon, Uber,SalesForces,Meesho etc visits for the campus placement. The highest package offered till now is 1.84CR by the amazon ireland, the avg package of the tech branches lies between 18-20lpa. overall 75-85 students get placed.

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
