The college is undertaken by the government of Kerala, education department. The principal and all other higher officials of college are very good and helpful persons.
Entrance Preview
College of engineering Trivandrum is the best college in Kerala which provides the masters degree in business administration. CET also provides a lot of placement oppurtunities. CET have good infrastrcture and faculties. Faculties all are very much experinced ones.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, placement cell of CET arranges internship for the students of the college. The general stipend of the internship ranges from 3000 to 5000 per month.
College Events
1. Onam day celebration: celebrates the onam day of Kerala in our college with a variety of programmes. 2. Drishti: CET hosts management cum tech fest "drishti" ever year for enhancing the practical knowledge of students. 3. Dhwani: CET hosts dhwani every year for enhancing the cultural abilities of students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As CET is a government institution, it is having only a feasible fee structure. CET only charges tuition fee from the students. There are no other hidden fees there. The tuition fee is only 25000 rupees per trimester. Only rupees 1 lakh 50 thousand for the entire course period.
Fees and Financial Aid
The CET is providing a scholarship of complete waving off the tuition fee for the student who is coming first in the previous university exam.
Campus Life
CET has a good and diversified campus life. The college respects the opinion of students in all matters. The college is having a very good gender ratio and diversity. The college has a large cricket stadium and athletics track. The college also has an indoor stadium. The labs of college also very large and have good apparatus.
Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for both boys and girls.T he men's hostel is the compound, but outside of the campus. The ladies hostel is inside of the college campus. The men's hostel has 500 rooms in 4 different blocks which can accommodate 1000 students in it. The ladies hostel has two blocks: old and new. There they can accommodate about 500-700 girls.
Alumni/Alumna
CET alumni association is the largest alumni association of any colleges in Kerala. CETAA has more than 20 chapters in almost all nations. All of them are very helpful for the college in all matters like sponsorships for the events.
Exam Structure
The course is on a Trimester basis. The university always plans exam based on the trimester. There are six exams in each trimester for students of each course. These exams are planned with a duration of 15 days with minimum 1 or 2-day study leaves. Before the exam, there is a minimum seven-day study leave.
Admission
Firstly I write the Kerala management aptitude test. Then I got a mark of 248 and rank 102. Then I submitted an application for CET and they called me for the interview and group discussion. After the interview and group discussion according to the performance,e they made a rank list and called for taking admission.
Faculty
All the faculties in CET are having rich knowledge and are well experienced. All the faculties teaching there have UGC NET and about 75 % of them have a doctoral degree. All of them are very fond of the students and have an impartiality in behavior. All the faculties are supportive for the events that are launching by a student of the college.
