Remarks

The college management is quite supportive. The college is a good place to learn quite a things that will help you all your life. It makes the basis of your life. So choose carefully

Entrance Preview

They take up admissions on merit score of 12th results. Generally, if you have scored more than 80% in science stream you can get an admission. But getting admitted for BCom is a hard task since the cut off is very high.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

There is lab works for physics, chemistry, and other medical fields too. They are an important part for the finals too. The labs are properly equipped with the material required. There's a lot of focus on this part. There is a lab of around 2 hours every day.

Internships Opportunities

There are not many internship opportunities to be honest. Although one can seek internships on one's own. Since the city provides a lot of opportunities.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are not very good for the graduate people. Although Larsen and turbo did visit last year for recruitments. But not many opportunities are available. The companies come for a graduate in specific fields only. So the college is not too good at this front.

College Events

4.5

Some happiness on this part. Actually a lot. The college has 7 fests. A fest for every field. With one common fest for all streams namely VIRASAT. Others are Vivacity (arts) panache (Bcom/BBA) Biorhythm(science). Different themes different aura. Then there's Lohri celebration. Blood donation camps are organised and PU youth fest takes place too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not very expensive. The annual fee is about 25,000 + 5000(exam fee which is 2500 per semester)+fines due to low attendance????. So, attend the lecture and save your money. So, whole of graduation costs one around 1,00,000. All of the fee is to be paid online.

Fees and Financial Aid

I dint avail any of the scholarships. But there are scholarships available for the meritorius students who score the positions in university and are in need of it.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus aura is just too good. There are more number of girls in college than boys(i think so, but never calculate) . There is a theatre group of the college .Sports meet too took place. Students from various places can be seen on campus with majority of crowd from Punjab, Haryana and Himachal pradesh.

Hostel Facilities

3

The college has hostel facilities available. If interested in taking up hostel, u have to mention it while filling the form itself and hostels get full in first day of counseling. A lot of PGs are available in the area nearby college. It costs around 10,000 a month including food and accommodation.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors hardly stay around after their graduation is completed. So u can personally keep in touch with them and they are very supportive and can help you with the problems you face.

Exam Structure

There is a semester system in Punjab University. The practical exam is conducted once an year. There are two mid-semester exams conducted mid way the semester(that's understood) . The semester exams are conducted in December and May. While the practicals are conducted in April/May.

Admission

There's an online procedure. Just fill in the form and get it submitted in the college. And then all you have to do is attend the physical counseling. There may be a number of physical counseling. But to arrive at the first counseling since the seats are full within first two to three days.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are the best in a lot. Most of them are doctorates. Some of them are gold medalists in their fields from the university. They can guide you properly throughout. Even future aspects can be discussed and you will come to know about the courses which you don't even know that existed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It really depends upon the course itself. A good curriculum includes preparing students for what's out there. Faculty here teaches the core concepts along with staying up to date with the trends and new technologies, it helps to connect the theory part with practicals. Therefore our course is relevant and comprehensive.

Curriculum is prepared well. I chose medical as i was a medical student. Curriculum is prepared in such a wau that it will help you out in the real world too. Improvement is required in the books as some of the books are out dated. Timing of exams are accurate we get enough time to prepare for the exam and difficulty level is moderate.
