Remarks

Nothing is bad about a college its just a place to study and enjoy your college life.

Entrance Preview

The infrastructure of this college is best in bhopal, and the co curricular activities along with the annual techfest is most popular. The placement record for this college is commendable as well. College has all the facilities, with good canteen, labs and hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is divided into 8 semesters during 4years. There are end semester exams as well as mid semester exams during this period. Regular classes with practical and theoretical classes are conducted. The course is well defined and the course books are available in the library.

Internships Opportunities

Special permission for the internship is to be taken from the head of the department. The college doesn't provide any internship.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement and job opportunities is fairly vast. There are a lot of small amd large companies present during the placement season and the college placement record is 85-90% from past few years. Many large conglomerates have their tie up with college for placement season.

College Events

There are several events celebrated as soon as you start you college life here. The freshers eve is among the first. Official college techfest is celebrated every year named "techamce" it is one of the biggest cultural techfest in bhopal. People from various colleges come to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible according to other colleges. Scholarship is also awarded to merit students and the fess structure is divided into different semesters. The bus fee, hostel fee and mess fee are not included in the college tuition fee. The fee is paid online.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't avail any loan or scholarship from college but more information can be gained from college website.

Campus Life

Campus life of this college is commendable and labs and practical knowledge is given importance vastly. There are various inter college sports competition all through the year and during the techfest. Badminton basketball football and cricket all kind of sports competition.

Hostel Facilities

I was a locol student from bhopal, so cant judge the hostel and mess. But as heard from my friends the hostel is very clean and the mess food is similar to home food. The library is open for hostel students till night to study. College has its own general shop inside campus.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

As i just passed out of the college i cant tell much about this. But there are various alumni meets .

Exam Structure

Admission

I gave my jee mains exams and according to the marks i scored in my 12th standard and in jee mains i got admission in this college. The admission process is very easy and the college is near to all the important transport areas of bhopal. The library also offers a huge range of books.

Faculty

The faculty of college is very helpful in clearing all your doubts In class in lab and in extra time as well. There are various faculty for a single subject so doubt clearing sessions are conducted very easily. The faculty also help you woth the extra curricular activities.

Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). Minimum Marks:45% aggregate in 12th Accepted Exams:JEE Main is the primary and most preferred exam. Admissions are also possible based on 12th-grade merit during later rounds or through college level counselling(CLC) phase.
