Likes

There is one new system in ism known as mis it is a hassle free system for all my credits and everything about me
The infrastructure is quite good the main heritage building is beautiful
The campus life is good the weather here is also good

Dislikes

Now there is no longer the branch change option which I disliked
Not every class is ac centralized and there is too much heat
In the hostel there are many insects and mosquitoes which is very problematic

These internships are funded by ISM Dhanbad and offer a stipend of 5,000 per month These internships are funded by projects and funding agencies, and the stipend depends on the project and funding agency. These internships are for students who want to pursue their research interests and do not offer a stipend SRIP (Institute Funded) InternshipsThese internships offer a stipend of 10,000 for 8 weeks

Placement Experience

Students are eligible from 7 or 8 semesters for campus placement The highest package is 56 lakh per annum and the average package is 17 lakh per annum Around 75% of students are placed in ism My plan is to go in the tech direction

Fees and Financial Aid

If your family income is greater than 5 lakh you have to pay all of the tution fee If your family income is between 1-5lakh you have to pay 2/3 of tution fee And for less than 1 lakh no fee have to be paid Complete cost of education is mear around 3 lakh per year There is a mcm scholarship in which 25% students get monthly allowance and tution fee refund and 10% students get only refund

Campus Life

There is a fest for mining department known as khanan in September and concetto is held in October which is the biggest fest of iit ism dhanbad Iit ism dhanbad have the 2nd largest library in all over Asia There are many clubs here for sports for tech for entrepreneurship amd so on

Hostel Facilities

One room is alloted to two persons ther is on almira one table two chairs two beds are provided in the hostel room Meal is quite good here we get 4 meal a day which includes snack You just have to register yourself in office of warden

Hostel Fee: INR 42000 per year

Admission

You should have been secured a good rank in jee advanced for admission to iit ism First you have to go through complete josaa process And then you have to do online registration with fee payment and then finally you have to go to college for physical registration and biometric verification

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is quite Good here The faculty helps student very much and their approach is very good The teachers tells in the class that I am free in this interval of time and then you can go anytime in between that interval

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem students are eligible for placement. Name of the company I forgot but nvidia amazon comes each year and take some students Paypal offered 4 students 28 lpa and Swiggy gave 2 students 35 lpa Nvidia gave 2 students 25 lpa Highest package data is not out as of now Avg is good this year I guess it's was 12-13 lpa Percentage is I guess reality 60/150

Raw and real side of NIT JSR

Placement Experience:

One of the major advantage of my college is it's placement percentage and average package. For my branch placement percentage is our 80% and average package of my branch is 16.5 lpa this year. Highest package last year was of 1.44 crore from a company rubirik. I plan to work in a semiconductor manufacturing company like Texas instruments and qualcomm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

A Comprehensive Journey

Placement Experience:

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.

All You need to know about IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

As this is an IIT, To get admission here Firstly You have to take the JEE mains exam. At our time there used to be 4 rounds of the JEE Mains exam and Your maximum percentile among all 4 would be considered for a cutoff It was around 90% and to be eligible for give JEE advance Exam. The JEE advance exam happened in July, and its results were also released in August. After Qualifying JEE Advanced exam too you have to go through JOSSA counselling. In JOSSA counselling you have to give your list of colleges priority wise and you will be allotted college based on your AIR. After JOSSA counseling of 6 rounds, you will be allotted a college and then you will receive an offer letter from a college. For me, at IIT Dhanbad after taking admission firstly we were introduced to college through an orientation session with our respected director. After this we were called to campus for pre-registration for our course there we had to submit our documents and verify our identity. That's it !!...Read More
