Remarks
I personally didn't liked few things about college management like no scholarship programs for students from lower income background. After every semester exam we had to wait atleast 2 months to get our university marksheets, that too following up atleast
Entrance Preview
GGSIPU entrance exam. My rank was around 4900. In firat counselling I got admission in Amity (Bijwasan, Palam). But it was too far from my home. In second counselling I got a chance to upgraded my college, then I choose MAIT as it was nearby to my home.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.tech Mechanical. 1st and 2nd semester were common for all branches. Then course changes. In last year I took Reliable & Maintenance over Refrigeration.
Internships Opportunities
No company visits in college for offering internship. You need to have your own sources or Get into some training course. No stipend is offered. And i guess this is the same case in all Engineering colleges. Internship applies for management courses only i guess.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are there for all branches except Mechanical. Rarely any Mechanical company visits college. So even core branches students have no option to sit in placement drives of TCS and Infosys. Good IT companies also visit college and offer package from 2.8 lacs p.a. to 6.5 lacs p.a.
College Events
College organizes technical and cultural fests. But they were not used to be on large scale at time. Now a days its level has raised I have heard from few juniors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee at my time was around 70000 rs per annum. That I had expense of Almost 10000 rs per semesters on books and other lab items.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. College didn't offered any scholarship. My friend took loan to participate in an SAE event in australia. But the same was grabted just 2 days before they had to leave.
Faculty
There were many good and renowned professors and lecturer in college. Many of them were the authors of the Subject books which are subject books in even DCE and IIT, like Mr. AK Tayal.
