Likes

ragging free enviroment, friendly faculty.
co-curricular activities, such as moot court competetions, youth parliaments, debates, mun, etc.
visits to museums, lectures, courts, book launches, etc.

Dislikes

as a student I would really like the approach of flexible attendance, but atleast of 75% attendance is mandatory in GGSIPU.
Campus is not very huge but limited to a certain area.
strict deadlines are followed during assessments and projects, no relaxation is provided in any case.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm currently pursuing BALLB (bachelors in arts and law), my college provides me a well focusing enviroment with access of manupatra and other legal sites. We have a well suited liabrary for relying on course related books and other materials. Many comptetions are organised within college such as moot court competetions and youth parliaments for our co- curricular activities.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In my particular feild of course usual course fee is arounf 1-2 lakhs. My institution takes around 1.8 lakhs overall. I'm a day scholar and this the expected tution fee. College has tie-ups with many many legal firms and lawyers for the course of employment.

Campus Life

The campus is not very huge, but it's well maintained and clean. It's aethetically appealing. One of the best thing about the college is ACed classrooms. Classrooms consist of smartboards. Cafeteria mostly contains of many food items. The capmus is strictly against ragging.

Admission

Students areto give CLAT in order to get into a law college. My college accepts the admissions on the behalf of clat rank. Admission process was smooth and I was provided with a college tour before i took admission. All the details were provided and were well discussed.

Faculty

The faculty member are well versed with their subjects. They particapte actively and are aware of all the cases, judgements and other proceedings active. The teachers particularly in my institution are well gone through the difficult rounds of the interviews. Most of the faculty members have pursued the degrees of doctrate and are continuing to learn even while teaching. I find them innovative and motivational in many aspects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As iam a ballb hons student it is a 5 year course we have total 10 semester one semester includes mid term and end terms and internal markings are also there based on teachers choice whether they want presentation or research paper. The subjects are distributed equally and you also get learn a foreign language as a part of summer internship program, we learned german here by the best teacher. The marking criteria of the exam is also good and simple if you are a hardworking student surely you will get 9cgpa and above while others can also manage to get 8-7 cgpa which is good.

So I choose for BBA LLB because I wanted that corporate aspect with law. We are taught nearly every aspect which will or may help us in real world applications or further academic pursuits. The assignments they provide could be improved. Apart from the mid sems and end sems, Class tests and quiz take place as a part of the marking scheme.

Placement Experience:

Law firms l, goverment organisation dealing with legal matters are the ones that comes here for placements. The large corporate houses are yet to be seen and that's something which should change for sure. Once that happens the placements will be as good as anything.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually little low here as our of 111 in 2025, around 35 were placed from campus and rest all has to manage on their own. So placement part out seperate placement cell is required to get this right.

Placement Experience:

Arey our campus internships have been taken care of amazingly but placements still are little slim. Delhi is where most of the students where places with a salary of 40k on and average. Some even less as students were ready to work for 20k as well.

GLA University is great!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are not many and to be realistic only 25% students or so get jobs from here. It is quite less indeed but that is how it is and some corporate houses who have branding issues are the ones that hire some students from here. Most students try to find joh outside only.

DME for media Students.

In ggsipu I first got jims Vasant Kunj college which is actually far away from my place and the distance between metro and college was alot, I found it so hectic to travel daily and also realised it is only possible if I've my own vehicle. Then I got Trinity institute of professional studies but that was something I didn't liked at all by infrastructure because it is too small just like a building but the quality of education is also very good there and distance between metro and college is just walking distance..
