Likes

I like that i can study anywhere in the world without attending class
Also ignou have online examination opportunity which might help you if you are busy or a job person and dont wanna come to give offline examination at exam centre so you can select online examination method
Books ignou provide good quality of study material and Saturday Sunday classes which help students to achieve great marks

Dislikes

They give books before 1&2 months of exam
They dont take offline classes after 1st year
They make tough question paper for exams

Course Curriculum Overview

So basically i choosed this bba in Retailing from ignou cause i want to start some business after that also i will do a mba side by side Although there are some cons and pros by choosing this course from ignou University Cons 1 you will not get any offline classes after 1st year completion 2 books issue you will get your books only 1-2 months before exam Pros 1 you can study wherever you want you dont need to go anywhere which is amazing fact 2 you just need you laptop or mobile device for study because they provide all online study materials too

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 10400 per year

Placement Experience

So basically after 2nd semester students will become eligible for internships opportunity I have personally visited hamleys , reliance brands They offered me about 96000? per year 90% chance of students getting placements After getting degree i will go for further studies like mba

Fees and Financial Aid

Course is very affordable This is 3 year course which costs around 10400? per year registration fees and also 200? per subject exam fees And some other miscellaneous expenses like workbook which costs around 300-400? every year one time Also they give internships opportunity to the students every year in big brands like reliance hamleys nike adidas etc But there stipends are very low like on an average they will give 7-8000? only in a month

Campus Life

There are no annual and technical festivals, along with the months they are typically held 100+ books and journals available in the library No facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms Many student-run social groups, clubs, or student portals, including their impact on student life

Admission

You need to score at least 55% marks in 12th to become eligible for bba also you need to learn some English because this bbaril needs some communication skills also little english because the course is in english too

Faculty

All members in thier faculty are well educated and qualified and they will help you to solve your doubts regarding to your selected course also they have good environment and greenery in main delhi branch

Normal life of sol student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good teachers are teaching well if you seriously study course than go to regular timing is flexible..I told you before that not compulsory to attend. I think they held 2-3 classes a week so it became more awesome good interaction with professor and social life college visiting.

the curriculum of my course, bbafia, is rigorous and comprehensive, covering vast topics of finance, accounting, business management, operational management, and many more. and extra subjects increasing our knowledge in their respective fields like environment science, psychology, politics, etc. exams, however, are difficult than the content we are provided with in the du sol books, a reference book would suffice that. hence the books can be improved

School of open learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curicullum is very outdated as its onlh about theoretical knowledge so exam are just about filling the copy. Difficulty level is average to hard but its easy to attempt. Some subjects like hindi are of no use.

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

I had also applied in DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics but the cutoffs were very high and only a few top colleges offered that course. DU SOL also did not provide B.Sc. courses at that time, so I finally chose IGNOU. The admission process is fully online through the IGNOU website. You need to sign in, upload your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or other supporting documents, fill personal details, and pay the course fee. For most courses you just need to pass Class 12, but for some courses there is a percentage requirement or specific subjects needed to study in class 12 like in my case maths.
