Review of THK Jain College by Shivam Shaw.

The bachelors of business administration (BBA) course is a well respected and reputed course in today's world. The aspects of this curriculum that influenced my decision as a student to choose and pursue this course is the effectiveness of this course in the real life scenario.It prepares a student in real world application as it includes subjects life taxation, accounting,share market knowledge etc. It also helps further in higher education. Some areas that can be improved in terms of this course is that the number of subjects in the course could be reduced a little. There are a lot of subjects a student has to study in order to clear the respective semesters. The timing and frequency of the exams are well organised so that a student gets ample amount of time to prepare for the exams. The difficulty level is not so disheartening as it is well above average.

The college offers alot of internship opportunities to the students. The internship were basically unpaid but the roles offered were average as it included the students to travel alot and as an intern it was very challenging.

The college placements are average as the students are offered an average package after the completion of their graduation. The students are eligible for placements after their 4th semester examinations. There were a few companies that visited the campus which includes TCS, TVS, Vedika Metals etc. The highest package offered earlier was of 4lakhs and the average package was 2Lakhs. My plans after the degree is to run my own business in the family. But there are a lot of opportunities for jobs also.

In this course other colleges charge a bit more amount than this college. The tuition fees is affordable in all aspects and there is no such spike in the rates. The total completion cost of my education in this college was around 1.2 lakhs in 3 years which I believe is affordable for a middle class family. Also there are no compulsory charges and service fee included in this course. There are a lot of scholarship schemes initiated by the government regarding every course and this college gives the opportunity to the students to avail those opportunities. The campus placements are promised and provided. I was also offered a campus placement through our college.

The social activities in the college were numerous. Overall experience of the campus life was soothing as there are a lot of events, programs which leads for the students to stay busy in their respective fields. The annual cultural event in our college named 'RIPPLES' is well known for its popularity. It is help in the winters around December or January, but the craze is very high because every year popular singers are invited to perform in our college. Sports and extracurricular activities offered by the college is also good as many students take part in those areas.

The admission process in this course was pretty easy in this college as I scored above 75% so I was eligible for this course, and was taken along smoothly through the admission process. After my completion of schooling I applied for this college online through their own website where I submitted the application form and after a few days I was contacted from the office and was informed that my name was on the list. The areas that the admission process could really work upon are the place where the department contacts the student a little earlier as the students are eager for their response.

The faculty members are really helpful in terms with the relationship with students. The teachers are well mannered and always supportive towards the students which really helps the students to learn and attend more classes willingly. The teachers are well aware of their teaching methods which are very effective and helps the students understand each and every topic related to the studies. The teachers - student relationship is quite important as the teachers in this college are very friendly but disciplined in all manner, this makes the students also well mannered and disciplined. The teachers co-ordinate with the students on a regular basis and help them in each and every way that is possible.
