Faculty is friendly. Social interaction is good

Dislikes

No proper campus. Managements is not good. No experienced teaching faculty. No proper placement opportunity. No proper classrooms given for lectures. Labs are not well maintained. No proper and good syllabus due to NEP

Course Curriculum Overview

Due to NEP whole curriculum has been changed. Biotechnology is subject with more chapters and many concepts but now we just have 3 main papers with only 3 small units in it. Its doesnt even feel like we are studying sciences in degree college. Syllabus is easier than 12th class syllabus. Despite of these we have to study languages also. Like who study hindi and english in degree college. This is professional course their should be many practical sessions but we only have 3 in a week that to for just 2 hours and not even conducted properly

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are not good. Not much opportunity is provided by college. Many times we have to find internships on our own. Some of the internships they provide does not offer good stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very less compared to 9ther colleges in here. About scholarship i dont have much idea. Their is no campus employment or proper internships given. I mean i dont have much idea on that also.

Campus Life

Campus is just one building and canteen in it with no proper calssrooms given for lectures or for conducting event or anything. Their are many clubs and events going on over the year but still management and support for university is not that great

Admission

Admission process was not that difficult. I mean they took students with 70 percentage marks in 12th so you know whats the matter here. Eligibility for my course is just you have to pass 12th standard. You can find application form and all the other details in university website.

Placement Experience:

Not sure but I've heard a bit that students are eligible for campus placement since the 5th or 6th semester. If one has enough skills, then they'll be able to get a job of a huge package even while being a fresher. The college offers placements but you'll only get placed if you prove yourself to be better than everyone else in the room.

Placement Experience:

The placments for Bachlor's were not that great. They are more in the favour of Commerce applicants. The maximum package during my time was 400000 which is really less than the market. Also, the placments and the roles are really average.

My First impression at VU

Placement Experience:

I think 5th sem is where students start getting placements or internships. I don't know much about the placements as it's my first year and my colleges started just a month ago. My plans aren't straight forward as I come from a business background I can't predict what would I be doing but I want to have a career in operating system development .

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

Fashion designing is a demanding profession. The long working hours during college only prepare one for the long working hours as a professional. And one should remember that fashion designing is not only limited to designing clothes but in fact, it includes a vast gamut of professions that include Jewelry or accessory designing.
