Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate the course 4/5 as the course is so underrated and is a very important element in a life of a person who wants to pursue masters in commerce and basics of commerce but i also don't like this course as it comes under the parent course of b.com and the syllabus abd exam structure is as same as other bachelor commerce course such as bba and b com but the portion of study is different

Internships Opportunities

5

Internships are available in the colleges for students majorly the students are placed into the companies related to their course such as bfm(bachelor of financial market) students are employed in companies which are related in stock market (public limited) such as bse etc etc They give tasks to put entries of the purchases sales or such basic works

Placement Experience

5

From the day of finishing of 1 st exam itself the students are capable enough to work as an intern and this college also offers placements and international internships to students and on a good amount of salary or a good amount of money and average salary is 15-2000 per month in an internship and highest paid was rs 77000 per month and placements start from rs 60000 per months and i also Opt to Job after the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The amount of fees i paid was 42000 which was done by bank transfer mode only no cash was accepted and the college campus is small but the overall vibe was totally happening and chill everybody in the college was helpfull and friendly there were around 10 classes on a floor which were 4 floors and +1 in which it includes library and offices and in the main course fees everything was included such as tution fees caution fees and such more fees there were some reservations for the sc/st management people and orher courses had more fees than us based on same criteria for around 20000 rupees more scholarships are also available for the merit students which i cannot discover as i was a average student grading as 70--80 percent pr 7-9 cgpa

Campus Life

4

Festivals take place regularly in the college through the means of offline events and collaboration with various companies and institutions and there are many organisations and events that are ran by different individual students and faculty which brings positivity and students together and they take places with high technology and generation updates

Admission

I applied in many other clgs such as nmims and muthibai and also got selected and the admission process was to primarily fill the form for the list anr lists were out based on minority management and merit list and then fees was to be paid throught net transfer mode and then they called students and parents for the submission of the documents in hard copy and then there was a briefing for the students on the other day of the submission of documents

Faculty

2

Faculty is very helpful in educational terms but faculty doesn't understand the problems of a student or the people around the are very rude and about the exams and syllabus structure there are 4 exams in the full term which includes internals externals and interviews

Night Life

2

There's a library in the college which is open to students till 10 pm in the night which opens at 6 am in the morning for the students otherwise there are no as such amenities in the college and the places bear the college is marine drive which is specially known as bay surrounding in the whole city and travel connectivity is also easy to everyone

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing this college or any other college for that matter should do is host people from different walks of life and ask them to brief the students about whatever great things they know. You should also prepare your students for different life skills. A webinar on how to budget properly, how to invest, how to survive in a jungle etc. The practicals that were given to us held very less value in my opinon. It seemed as if we are just doing the practicals for the sake of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.

Placement Experience:

Many top firms recruit students from PGCL. Though our college is relatively new, it has been able to provide decent internships and job placements for students. In the 2018-2019 batch, the highest salary package offered was 13.5 LPA. However, for good placements, students also have to make efforts. The placement committee is overall very proactive Due to the pandemic, for the 2020-2021 batch not as many companies could visit as last to last year. Out of eligible only 55% students were placed. However, the maximum package offered increased
