Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course because I want to become a judicial officer and to serve society as a professionals. The environment of our Institute also influenced me to choose this course. Our curriculum also prepared us to deal with every situation and to interact with peoples. We can say that there is also a need for improvements in the course curriculum because our syllabus is too large and teachers are not able to complete syllabus at time. In our course, examination should be conducted semester wise per year. We should also face some problems during examination.

Internships Opportunities

5

Our Institute also offered various intership opportunities for students. Finleaf company selected various students of our Institute for internship with five thousand stipend per month. Students must complete tasks which are provided by such a company. Students also did their internship in District Court as well as High Courts.

Placement Experience

4

We have a placement cell in our course which offers placement opportunities for students. The tenth semester students are eligible for campus placements. Finleaf company visited our Institute and offered placement opportunities for the students. Around five students were selected from our Institute. I have no idea about the highest and average package as per company. There are only 10 percent students getting placements. I want to become a judicial officer after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of our course is the same for every students and there are some concession only for scheduled castes students. The complete cost of our education is one lakh rupees per year including all the charges. There is also various scholarships or financial aid available for the students who are incapable of paying their fees. Under the National Scholarship Portal, the amount of ten thousands provided to students per year who scored above 90 percentage in 12th examination. Under the Post Matric Scholarship, the amount of six thousands provided to students who belong to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. There are various legal firms and companies who offered job opportunities for students along with good stipend.

Campus Life

5

In our Institute, there are less number of events organised but law fest was organised by 4th year students every year. New edition books and journals are available in the library. There is also a well-equipped classrooms but no smart classes in our Institute. Students must participated in extracurricular activities also. There are various social groups and political parties working in our campus. These groups tried their best to solve the problems of students.

Admission

If the students has passed their 12th examination then they are eligible for this course. Students need to fill an application form which was released by our Institute. The application fees is around one thousand. I have no idea about the reservation benefits because I didn't availed it. Entrance exams shall be conducted for admission and students who the get highest marks in exam preferred first. The reservation benefits during admission are not good for all the students and I didn't like it.

Faculty

5

In our Institute, we have well qualified and highly educated professors. The qualifications of our faculty members is that they have law graduates, have master degree in law and Ph.d holders. Their teaching style is very impressive and splendid. They motivate the students to interact with peoples and to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular events. They tried their best to solve the problems which was faced by students.

Interview Experience

5

No, I didn't face any group discussion, interview or written test for the admission because when we got admission then there's a corona period in our state. But nowadays, entrance exams should be conducted by our Institute. For selection, there is need that students must be scored highest marks in entrance exam.

Placement Experience:

For BBA.LLB course no batch has yet graduated, and the first batch to graduate is in their last academic year. We are expecting placements to start early this year, and after the graduation of our final batch, we will get a fair idea about the packages to be offered. Although IIM already has well-established placement records for other courses, it is expected to be the same for the law course

Placement Experience:

i think the students become eligible for placements from the 13th term. our first batch hasn't graduated yet. they are due to graduate in 2026. but certain law firms which have visited our college and have offered internships to our students are Khaitan & Co., Luthra, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, IndusLaw. Honestly, I have not decided yet what career i would want to pursue but yes, having a campus placement in hand definitely gives a sense of security. I may pursue an LLM after this or may enter into litigation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculam is very nice for the law subjects but for the BA subjects it can be very tiring at times. Like same concepts are repeated again and again in various subjects. E.g- Often what taught in Pol Science is same to what is taught in History, so it can be repetattive on some occasions.
