Dislikes
- The political culture of University because it affects the curriculum of classes which affects the studies of some brilliant student
- The adverse affect of affiliated colleges as they are situated far away from main campus which makes very difficult to handle them by main office which affects the aura of Delhi University and spoils his name
- The low budget for college because most of the college building's are old and not in good condition . Structure and furniture is also getting old but no replacement is taking place because of large quantity
Course Curriculum Overview
I have done bachelor in Economics. The course is very good and it contains all the important points like Gdp , money and its components, and principles of micro and macroeconomics. All the points about Indian and western economies. The main problem with this course is that it is more theoretically based as compared to practical knowledge, this is the area where it has to improve.The timing of exam is the best thing in Delhi University, there are two times in a year exams take place ( 2 semesters in 1 year ).
Internships Opportunities
There are many opportunities provided by multinational company and national companies including Microsoft, Google, Apple . There are many worship opportunities also available. There are many fares organised by Universities where many multinational company always took part and give eligible students opportunity. I also have done an internship under tata group in Database management.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the course is low so that every individual can afford this . And those who are not able to afford , there are many scholarships and internships are their by which one can pay their academic expenses. Like for science students , 60,000 scholarship is available per year and for arts and humanities NSP is there for assistance of 1 lakh rupees for 1 year.
Campus Life
The overall environment is very good. You will get the desires exposure which makes you to deal with anyone all around the world. It will boost your confidence and make you aware of your pros and cons. We can say the student campus life will make you well-prepared for the whole life. There is a special quota for sports individuals and promote the scheme Khelo India by Prime minister.
Admission
To get admission to Delhi University, one should have to crack cuet ug with good marks to be enrolled in their courses of their choice . Application fees is 1000/-. The exams are held in July for pg and in December for UG. Once you crack the exam , the cutoff have released, do according to the cut-off and proceed with document verification from college where you got eligible by the cutoff manner. Reservation is available for sc , St ,obc, and person whose family members are from army police background and the person with a disability
Faculty
There is large no. of professor as compared to students. Bt the several studies , we came to know that there is 1 professor for ten students which is very good ratio . Because of this , students get special attention from professor and gain knowledge according toh thier needs . The professor can give sufficient time for students to solve their doubts and correct your mistakes.the professor are highly educated with well behaved behaviour and full of kindness , generosity.
