Its a pretty decent government engineering college with a very affordable fee and pretty decent environment for academic excellence
Unlike private colleges the attendance issue is not there like you can maintain a decent 50 percent attendance and things are sort for you
The faculty of this college holds strong command on their respective subject and many of them holds phd from iits.

Dislikes

The very main thing is its infrastructure its a pretty old college thats why infrastructure is not that much good
College doesn't provide any internship opportunities. One has to find it by himself
Its one of the oldest engineering college in Central india but still the placement are not upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview

I personally opted this course as its the first college in india to start electronic and communication branch. This course tells about chips semiconductor etc which is again a upcoming boom in it industry as its a major component in electric vehicles. This course must be little applicable in practical world. The frequency of exam is pretty decent like in 4-5 months once and the difficulty is quite normal like 1 week before exam start studying and things will be damn easy for you.

Placement Experience

After the end of third year or 6th sem student are eligible for placements. Infosys, IBM, tech Mahindra etc are some companies that visit this college. Highest package was around 15 lpa and lowest around 3.5 lpa. 80-90 percent student get placed. My plan is to go for masters abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is pretty affordable and hike is very less or we can say negligible. One can complete his bachelor degree including education fee, hostel, food etc in as less as 3 lacs. There are many scholarship available like medhaavi for scholar student and post metric for sc/st and obc student. Also there is fee waiver in hostel for sc/st students

Campus Life

Aavahan is the name of the fest. Other than this there is no such major fest in this college. There is a huge library that has thousands of books. The facilities are okay okay and all kind of required stuff is available. Sports facilities are not that good There are many clubs and group in this college.

Admission

One has minimum 55-60 percent in 12th board from science stream pcm. We get this college through mpdte counseling after jee mains. Every sc/st/obc student get reservation. Exams are pretty easy like once in 3-4 months The admission process can be little short

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is not that good its approx 100:1 on average. The faculty is top notch and their way of explanation is good. The are ready to help students always and they are easily approachable.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

Yes , i can apply for this college for reason is it was a good college in your lower rank in jee mains exam you can also admit 12 th result and lateral entry for diploma students. So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch .
