Likes
- The size of our campus is really big as compared to other colleges of ipu. The facilities are well maintained in the given space.
- Currently there are five canteens in our campus serving different types of foods and taste is pretty much decent.on the backside we have green belt area as well giving students an extra space to chill outside the college premises.
- The faculty is very much qualified and supportive as well in the btech department .
Dislikes
- The locality of the college is not so nice . Its in a village area and is not safe in the evenings also. Market is also not accessible easily sometimes it feels as if we are detached from the world.
- There is no support to the societies and clubs of the college. It is very sad that the faculty only focus on the academic development but not the skill development of their students.
- The nearest metro is rithala which is literally 20-25 mins away from college . It makes the travel so tiring and you always have to take a decent buffer time due to the uncertainty filling of the rikshas on time
Course Curriculum Overview
Management courses being new to mait , our batch is the first batch of bba in mait so far so good experience but yess definitely it feels a little out of the box to be a management student in technology college. But if i talk about btech. For them mait is a very much good option it is the highest rated college of ipu with good facilities.
Internships Opportunities
In management course basically marketing hr finance interns are hired . Companies like zielhoch, insplore,hindxr etc. Come to hire interns stipend varies from 15-20k. Attend the internship fairs organised in the campus so you get an internship easily from the campus only.
Placement Experience
In both btech and bba students are eligible for placements in the 3rd year. In bba there is mandatory internship in the end of 2nd yr for which college organised an internship fair which was of great help we got internships from our campus only.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for bba in mait is 114000 and yes they do offer scholarship. The HODs often circulate various scholarships programs it is upto you to maintain your discipline and grades to avail those benefits.
Campus Life
Overall campus life could be fun if you fortunately get a happening friend group but as of the crowd of mait i didn't get one . So i explored the societies which are the best ways to develop your personality.the theatre music dance arts societies are very good if you need exposure and want to come out of your shell. But again there is no support from college to society but it always works when your people are together ,even iam in the theatre society altogether and it was the best decision of my 1st year.
Admission
In order to get into bba i had to give ipucet exam and got rank 2280.application form is easily available on the official ipu site you just have to keep checking when the forms come out. the difficulty level of the exam was moderate you just need good basic thats it if you had commerce background in your 11th 12th ,you are good to go.
Faculty
I personally am in the management department of mait and honestly qualification wise the faculty is pretty good and supportive to students as well. But the moment you talk about attendence they are gonna snap on you. In order to function smoothly you will have to maintain good relations with the faculty and it will be easy as well as most of them are interactive and engaging.
