- The teaching strategies followed by the faculties are appreciable, friendly environment.
- Ample support from the faculty regarding research and field trips
Dislikes
- Very small campus maynot be a place for a social interaction
- As per now, there is no campus placement for this perticular course (BSc. Botany and Biotechnology) but the same is been provided for other courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
Regarding the curriculum, as this is a Double degree program the benefits are double for the future. The curriculum is prepared as 60% theory and 40% practicals but additional hands-on experience is also provided here. Periodic conduction of internal tests and model exams helps us to tackle the semester exam comfortably. Teaching with leisure breaks is a pro.
Fees and Financial Aid
For management seats, the price ranges from 50000 to 57000 per semester which is quite a huge amount. But for alloted and aided seats, the fees drop down to 21000-25000. There are merit scholarships. As it is a double degree program, I feel neutral about the fee infrastructure. There are no stipends, job roles, or responsibilities.
Campus Life
Overall experience with campus life is neutral as the campus size is very small but yet very enjoyable too. 2 major festivals called SHIKHAR and AROHA is being held annually which is the main highlight of this college. Apart from this, small celebrations and programs are held too. Sports here are a bit less active, but the annual sports day is to be held every year. NSS is one of the most fun-filled social working groups there, I recommend joining.
Admission
The admission process is completely online under the MG University official site. However, we can approach for the same in offline mode also. I availed Ex-Servicemen Reservation benefits for the fees. Frequency of examination is regular and timely.
Faculty
One of the major pros is that the faculty-to-student ratio is 1:14 which gives individual attention and ample amount of support from the faculty. Faculty's approach to teaching by using powerpoints, white boards and hand written notes is of great help. Interactions with them is quiet often and comfortable to broaden our thoughts.
