Course Curriculum Overview

The most notable and proud feature of VIT is the Samsung Student Ecosystem for Engineered Data(SEED) Lab, this allows students and faculty to engage in R&D projects alongside Samsung's senior engineers. This makes VIT one of the best universities in india to learn machine learning, data engineering, mobile tech, etc. Continuous lab evaluation (no strict end practical exam) makes sure concepts are crystal clear and understood by students. Cutting-edge lab facilities are open to students with an interest in projects. Test students on their problem-solving ability rather than memory. There could be improvements in some subjects in the curriculum to be more interactive.

VIT offers summer internships on programming and development on cloud, post graduate interships for MBA , MTECH and Ph.D degree holders, International internships at several leading MNCs at UK,USA,China etc.

This year 88 LPA was offered by motorQ. Some of the top notch comapnies like Microsoft,amazon,jp Morgan,Morgan stanley have visited VIT with good salary packages. Around 7142 students are placed as of now.

Fees and Financial Aid

tution fee:- 195000,first year:-1,98,000. toppers of state/cbse:- 100% fee waived VITEEE rank 1-50:- 75% 51 - 100:- 50% 101-1000:-25% fee waived. There are other scholarship grants that could be accessed separately.

Campus Life

Vit has an amazing campus sitting in the serenity of the suburbs of Vellore. The most eye-catching feature is the recreational clubs along with studious clubs for the curious ones. Alpha Bio cell and ADG are some of the clubs.

Admission

The admission process is almost direct or through an entrance exam. We can enter through VITEE or direct management or NRI quota seats. VITEEE offers a fair chance at fee waived off so therefore more recommended. Their exam could be written pan-India at different centers throughout the country.

Faculty

The faculty-student ratio of VIT vellore is almost 1:1 which makes it very easy for students to apprach their faculty members and clear their conceptual doubts, this is often very resourceful for students. The faculty members are highly educated and knowledgeable in their respective fields which makes them capable in clearing conceptual as well as amazing teaching capabilities espetially in practical work. Almost all of our faculty mebers are accessible 24/7 during break times and even after class. The immersive and supportive environment pushes every child to be a good engineer, scientist or a teacher in the future.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
