This college has provided us good hostel facilities
The syllabus is quite updated and at par with other colleges

Dislikes

Teaching is a little lenient here. Often we are found studying on our own
As it is new, it is still quite under construction.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken this course as it is quite in demand these days. Though the field is facing recession this time, it is not enough to stop the youth of this country from taking up computer science as a branch for their bachelor.

Internships Opportunities

Our college has a policy where students need to apply for atleast one internship in the third year of their academics. This intern helps in placement and the projects that one needs to do in fourth year.

Placement Experience

The campus placement of our college is average. It usually lies in between 4 lakhs to 9 lakhs. Dream offers lie in 10 lakh to 15 lakh while super dream lie beyound 20 lakhs. Only a few people are eligible for the super dream offer.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure here is divided into 5 categorises, 1 being the least and 5 being the most. Most of the students here pay fee of category 1 which i honestly find pretty decent as it is quite similar to other colleges.

Campus Life

The campus life here is pretty decent in my opinion. Pople here come from all over the country. Every one has made some good friends and we pretty much enjoy each and every moment together. We have timely events which make our campus life even better.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities as below average here according to me. As it is in Madhya pradesh, water shortage and electricity cut is a frequent problem here. The mess food is okayish, providing bith veg and non veg meals.

we were asked to attept the vit examinantion. After that we were given our rankes and were also alloted perticular phase in which we were, according to which we need to pay our academic and tution fee

Teachers here are helpful, though we are often found studying on our own. Teachers provide us with materials that we require. Approaching teachers is an easy task here. We are given regular assignments too.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
