Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum here is very rigorous and hard thus , it actually prepares you for the real life scenarios you are going to face moving forward in life. The curriculum is specially designed to implement all the theoretical knowledge in the real world scenarios may it be a case study or be it the regular theoretical knowlede. You'll be taught everything you might need as a future manager and you are trained to use that knowledge in real world scenarios. The areas the institute might work on is giving more time to soak in the information and skills, you are expected to implement the learnings as soon as they are taught but hey that's how the real world works. Nobody is going to wait for youm Exams and quizzes are a regular phenomenon occuring at a minimum of 2 quizzes per week along with the usual mid term and end term exams. Pertaining a difficulty of moderate to extreme to maintain a good academic hygiene.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internship opportunities are ample on campus , many companies conduct competitions to offer internships even before the placement drive for internship starts. All of the internships come with a stipend ranging from 40k- 1.5L per month. Each company sets a different project for a different profile. You need to possess the skills eg marketing knowledge and good communication is required to get shortlisted for a marketing role.

Placement Experience

4.5

After 3rd trimester you are mandatorily required to appear for summer internship placements that are also paid internships and during the 6th trimester you become eligible for final campus placements. 400+ companies visit the campus including brands like BCG Accenture, Cocacola etc. and around 650+ offers are made securing a 100% placement. As of now the institute does not release any data regarding the placement and packages but in general knowledge BCG offered an average of highest 1.2CR CTC and average of 28 Lacs CTC 100% of the students get placed. I plan to work in a marketing oriented position for the initial few years and gain experience to start my own venture.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is around 25lacs for the whole course which includes your books and accomodation. A mess fee of Rs. 18000 per term is applicable and the miscellaneous expenditure on stationary would cost you around a 1000 per month. There are a lot of govt. Scholarships provided by state and center govts including specific caste based scholarships by the govt. The institute provides need and merit based scholarships depending upon the set down criteria changing from time to time. Monetary assistance is provided to meritorious students based upon their grades and performance in terms of book allowance (not cash) Loan at substantially low rates are also available to the students.

Campus Life

5

Fests like Sangharsh - oct-nov Manifest varchasva - March Bith of them are the biggest cultural and business fests that happen on campus. Books ranging from basic to Harvard courses are available in the library either physically or in form of e books Technology in classroom include AC smart board , projectors , comfortable seats , blackboards , charging outlets on every desk and wifi. Sports and extra-curricular activities have a huge spread on campus ranging from sports like cricket , swimming , billiards etc dance competitions , quiz competition, casecomps are a regular phenomenon on campus. Most of the student related activities are handled by student run bodies like infrastructure committee, placements committee, mess committe , drama clubs , laughter club , dance and music clubs

Hostel Facilities

4.5

A single accomodation hostel is provided to each student having facilities like washing machines , wifi , fans , lights , mattress , almirahs , and best if all personal balcony. No restriction on entry , exit timings just a con there are shared bathrooms on each floor. Meal quality is good and a range of food is available in the mess for each meal. And paid meals are also offered from 11PM to 3 AM

Admission

The foremost part is clearing the CAT . On an average a percentile of 98+ is required to get shortlisted for the interview process. A round of WAT ( Writing ability test) and personal interview follows the shortlisting. With reservation the CAT percentile required lowers down to 85+ for ABM and 92+ for MBA but after that the process is same for everyone. Application is released every year around October with a average application fee of 3000 bucks. The difficulty level is quite high thus rigorous prepration is required. Admission process is a good benchmark and as of now no improvements are required.

Faculty

4.5

There is 60:1 student faculty ratio. The faculty here is very experienced both academically and professionally. Some of the professors have a work experience of 20+ years in corporate and thus provide knowledge and skillset very specific to the needs of the corporate. The faculty is very accommodating and approachable be it a matter of academia or be it a personal matter they are always there to mentor you without any hesitation.

Interview Experience

4.5

The first phase of the same was WAT (Writing ability test) a topic - "Does mean justify the results" was given and we were told to write a 2 page essay in 15 minutes. Followed by a personal interview, it can include any aspect of your life ranging from academia to personal life and your goals and future plans. The best way to prepare for them is talking to the alums and youtube research . The process of admission is as followed - CAT exam - Shortlisting based on percentile acheieved - WAT - Personal interview and finally if you clear everything a call letter is sent for admission.

Placement Experience:

Firstly speaking, no college can provide you placement. If you don't have that capability to catch that placement. Yes, majorly most of the students got placement. The highest placement which I have seen from my eyes was eight LPA, which was quite good if we see from starting if a new B is coming and he's got eight LPA, then it's really good, and yes, this college promises you that it will provide you placement, but the only condition is that you should be well-behaved and obey all the rules and regulations of this college. If you don't have that capability, you yourself can't do it. Yes, every year companies like Wipro companies like Amazon company companies like Flipkrt comes in this college and takes many of the students.
