- Campus area which is so beautiful and green
- Only NBN Sinhgad college has lift in the campus and also students are allowed to use the lift.
Dislikes
- No canteen for our college but there is a Central canteen
- No separate ground for our college, but there is big cricket ground for everyone
- Attendance is compulsory atleast for 70% attendance
Course Curriculum Overview
Savitribai Phule Pune University is a renowned university and Sinhgad institute comes under SPPU that is why I chosed this college. Syllabus and Examination is all decided by University. Difficulty level of exams are easy to moderate based on every section of question paper and mostly questions are from previous year.
Internships Opportunities
This year Companies are hiring based on internship of 6 months so there are various opportunities for internships in 3rd year of Computer Engineering. Companies which offer internship were PTC, hp, worldline, amdocs and so on.
Placement Experience
Sinhgad Institutes has central placement cell and as of now recession is going on still out college has done over 70% placement with average package of 5-6 lpa and highest of 14 lpa and one boy from entc has cracked Amazon internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees of the college is ?1,10,000 approximately if you are from general category and for obc it's 50% of total tution fees. Scholarships are filled for every year for tfws, obc, sc categories on mahadbt website.
Campus Life
Annual festival of Sinhgad Institutes is "Sinhgad Spring Fest" which was previously called as "Sinhgad Karandak", This is the biggest festival of Pune City where more than 10,000 public gets involved in the campus. Sinhgad Institutes has its Cricket ground and also run social clubs as Sinhgad students council, Sinhgad Kalamandal, Art circle, NSS, etc
Admission
I gave MHT-CET exam for entrance and the cutoff at the year of 2021 was closed at 78 percentile for Computer Engineering. But this year cut off is almost 90 percentile as our college has accredited "A" grade from NAAC.
Faculty
Faculties are well educated and has double degree like Master of Engineering and 20% of the professor have PhD. Teachers are very helpful towards students if the student is attending the college regularly.
