Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

My according in today's world bcom degree is just like a piece of paper. Bcom is better if you are doing any other course together like ca,cs and many more. Bcom is a difficult course but after doing bcom it is very difficult to get a job once must do any other course along with it to get better job opportunities and after doing bcom a person only gets theory knowledge for practical and job oriented studies bcom is a waste degree. In my opinion if a person is doing bcom he/she must gain another skill for getting a better job.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

In my college internships are offered by big companies like Deloitte samsung sony and many more. There are societies like the encode the placement cell and the placement and internship cells which offers an annual internship drive for students. First they will offer internship without stipend and after sometime they offer internships with stipend also. It depends on the experience of the student. I have completed my first year exams and now I am in second year i will also take part in the internship societies to get better Jobs and develop some skills to get better job opportunities in future.

Placement Experience

3

I don't know much about the placement opportunities in my college as I am in first year but if you search on Google you will find that Shaheed Bhagat Singh college has good placement opportunities and good internships offered by big companies. So as I know if you want to get a job after doing bcom you must have some other skills also. It is very difficult to find a job just after doing bcom if you don't have any other skills . Skills like computer software and busy software, tally , coding and etc. these skills will help you to find a better job. In my college companies like sony, samsung, Deloitte often come for campus recruitments. If I talk about the percentage of students getting placements after completing the degree it is very low. I think the percentage is 15% and those students who secured good marks often gets placements. The minimum package is 10000 p.m. and the maximum can go upto 60000 p.m. in very rare cases.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college the overall fees of the course is around 50000 for 3 years course and the infrastructure of my college is average with a good sports ground and descent classrooms.the main thing of du colleges is the societies one must take part in societies to get more exposure and to get interactive with other students. Societies are the main part of the college life and delhi university has the best societies with the best students from all over India. Some societies also offer placement opportunities

Campus Life

4

If I talk about my overall experience I will say it is good as in my college students come from every part of India and I am a interactive student who loves to interact with others and learn about different cultures and religions. So for me du is a best university for getting exposure and learn about new things. And if I talk about infrastructure i will say that it is in developing stage new classrooms are developing and new sports rooms are in progress. Shaheed Bhagat Singh college can be a good college for those who are coming in 1st year as the infrastructure is getting better every day out principal is taking steps to provide the best opportunities to students and in my college there are so many societies and with the best faculty members and the best students. If I will talk about sports the college has a good playground with the facilities of cricket basketball football volleyball and table tennis. And a new indoor sports court is also in development process

Admission

To get admission in delhi university in today's date. There is a entrance exam called cuet which means common university entrance test and a student has to secure good marks in it for getting a good college. Different colleges has different cut offs for example north campus colleges has the highest cut off and south campus colleges has comparatively low cut off. In my college the cut off for commerce course is above 700 from 800. If a student wants to take admission in the top du colleges he/she must score more than 750 to get admission in top north campus colleges and it is very important to make a good college list on the cuet portal from that basis they will alot you colleges. So please make your preference list good and if you will put all the top college on the top side they will allot you the best college on the basis of your marks. In du if you have any sports certificate you can also apply that in the sports quota certificate it also help to get a better college

Faculty

3.5

The faculty members are good but not all of them I am talking about my college Shaheed Bhagat Singh college in my college the faculty members are good but not all teachers some know how to teach properly but not all solve the doubts of students they come just for giving attendance and internal tests that's why it is difficult to say that whether they are good or bad because sometimes they teach so well and sometimes they only come for attendance and they don't give any study material. But if I talk about north campus top du colleges there faculty is very good as compared to office campus du colleges

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.
