- College actually focus on the academics of each and every student and teacher are very supportive
- College has a RISE department which mainly focuses on drone development
- There are some events which allows yhe students to gain exposure but you have to be very attentive
Dislikes
- College is very strict regarding the 75% attendance rule
- The compus is very small and the hostels are not up to the mark.
- For girls hostel in time is 7:30 and the college in time is 6:30 parents might think that is good but for students it is not
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is not the best but the college provides us with workshops which can help us in upscaling our skills, but these workshops are mostly paid. The college offers the traditional teacher method which is not that effective nowadays. Course Curriculum is decent but most student entroll in an external course. The exam frequency is also on the higher side as a student have to give exams 3 times in a semester 2 mid semester exams which are easy and then end semester exams which are quite difficult.
Internships Opportunities
There are not that many internship opportunities as there is a lot of competition in the college u have to be really good to get your hands on the campus internship which is not worth it. Students mostly apply for external internships during their 3 year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee of this college is lesser when compared to other colleges such as chandigarh university . The total fee of completing the b.tech degree is around 5.12 lakhs but the hostel fees are very high around 1.35 lakhs per annum, most students prefer opting for a pg and independent flat as they are cheaper as compared to the hostels
Campus Life
There are many annual festival that happen in the college . Freshers start there year with "parivartan" The first event of the year its a cultural events where different culbs showcase there talents. There is also " National science day" Which is a techinal event where students show there technical abilities by building projects. There are 8 major culbs which you can join for example there is tech amigos if want to join a coding community , Artistia for art and many more.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities vary depending upon the hostel but overall hostel experience this decent. Student have to opt for a hostel at the time of the admission. The menu may get a little boring but the food quality is ok . Students get 3 meals and snacks in the mess, but the mess is only available for those living the the hotel. The availability of pg is also good. Students can easily get pg or a room nearby the college. The hostel varies form 120000 to 150000 per annum depending upon the hostel the student has selected
Admission
The admission process is quite simple anyone who has scored above 65 percent in 12th can apply for a b.tech degree in this college there is no need for Jee mains to get admission in this college. This can be a good thing as well as a bad thing as due to this policy there is a mixed crowd in the college here u can find all kinds of people which again can also be a good thing.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is on a little the higher side but it doesn't bother that much because teachers are always there for their . Most of the teachers actually try to make sure that everyone in the class is paying attention and learning properly. Students-teacher interaction may vary depending upon the teacher but mostly teachers are helpful
