I got my admission with my JEE score. They ask for JEE Mains score, MH CET scores, SAT, & few more other exams while applying for admission. No reservation quotas for any one. The application is online on their website

The curriculum is better than other colleges. It gives hands on experience with mini projects & other assignments. But the exam pressure on students is something they should work on. It's really hard to study for end sem exams.

Plenty of internship opportunities available for students. They have a dedicated internship cell. Some are paid, some are non paid. Many in house internships also available in the campus itself. There are few campus startup that offers.

College has a dedicated placment cell & placement officer. Avg placement is of 7 Lac while it goes upto 20 lacs in campus placement ctc. Few got 40 lac CTC but it was not a campus placement selection.

The fees is really very high for B.Tech. Each year they increase it. Few merit cum need based scholarships are available by somaiya group. Financial aid based on need is also provided to few students.

One can get the best student life in Somaiya Vidyavihar university campus. There are plenty of events & competitions happening across the year on campus. There are many clubs & team for extra curricular activity such as drama club RHAPSODY

There are two hostels on campus. 1. Polytechnic Hostel: Fees is comparatively less, four sharing, no AC, mess is good. 2. Management Hostel: Fees is high, still no AC, mess is good but one gets bored after a time. It's 3 sharing.

Some are really good, some are not. Totally depends on luck which batch you're into as different sections have different faculties. Some are really helpful even on personal level problems while some are so rude about academics too
