The faculty members are great and have great clubs.
The faculty is also very good and reputed.
The also promote entrepreneurship which I want to pursue.

Dislikes

The class strength is very much and less studies.
The college is located in very outskirts .
Sports are not there much and that is bad thing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is also great and the course structure is also very well planned. The course is structured in a way that you are placement ready so that you can face the interview and pass it. So overall structure is good.

Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunity are available in out college from companies like fiserv, Capgemini, Accenture and many more. They are selected based on a test and interview process, that is conducted for shortlisted students.

Placement Experience

The college is only known for placement and the placement officer is of our college. The college has great placement . the companies that visit are like accenture,barclays,capgenimin and offer avg CTC of 10LPA. 90% students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like 140000 per year. Also there are scholarship available for SC/ST/OBC ,so there are good opportunity for everyone. The hostel fees and mess fees are different and are not included in that.

Campus Life

There are various tech fest like anantya and events conducted in the college. The technological provisions are also made good in college. THe sports and extra curricular activities are also made for students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is also great and the mess is also there so that student can eat In mess only. The process is that you have to pay hostel and mess fees about 150000 per year for thatmand you canhave access to hostel

Admission

The JEE percentile should be above 98% and CET percentile should be above 99% to get into the college. But for SC,ST the percentile is much low and they can get into college with much less percentilee. So it is easy for them.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is good and also teacher focus and everyone gets to clear their doubts. THe approach of the faculty are also great and overall a very good atmosphere. The teachers also interact regularly .

Interview Experience

No there is no GD or personal interview process for that. they only check your 10th and 12th and JEE or CET marks for the admission and that's all. The admission process is smooth so not to worry about that.

Placement Experience:

Our placement of college is best after your 1st year you are eligible to do internship which college provide where company came and selected the student based their skills and talents but many of the students look internsip from their relatives offices or from outside better opportunities. Many companies came here for the internship and final placement for the studnet. Some companies offer the PPO for the internship student and get the best package also. The companies also came here to our specialization like finance, marketing, HR these are the major specialization and the placement coordinator also bring these specialization companies. Half of the batch are placed almost 60 to 70 % placed studnets many of them are working also. The company came in our campus like kotak Mahindra Bank, insync, ICICI bank, Granules and beans,etc

Future of Career Lies here

Placement Experience:

The college offer good opportunities for placements. The company's like Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., Godrej, Icici Bank Ltd, Amul, etc and lot more come for intership and placement offers. The placement here is good but could have been more better. Students are eligible after 3 semester to get campus placements Till now in my batch it has bring almost 70 job opportunities Highest package offered here was 14 lack per annum 80 percentage of students almost get placed through campus placements My plan after getting degree is to be at a reputable company and work at a good position and to earn a higher amount for fulfilling my dreams and goals

Adventurous experiences of College

Placement Experience:

College offers very good placement opportunities to the students. Once we cleared our 1st year it is compulsory for all the students to do the internship and this internships are also given by the college. This internships helps us covert theorical knowledge into practical by being in that corporate environment out of the campus. Once we completed our internships we have to make a report (Green Book) on those internship and do a presentation about what we learned. Talking about placements, college came up with a very good companies which increases the competition and eagerness among us. The companies college offers are Insync analytics, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Prudential, HDFC Life Insurance, Interactive Broker and many more

Excellent Educational Institute for Management Students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the Institute is good as the faculties are highly involved for bringing the companies in our college campus. They bring the best internships for the month of May June but the companies has started coming more early from the month of December and January that was the good part for us as many students started placing from the January months itself and all the students were got the internships from the Institute. The companies such as Dabur, Amul, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Insync Analytics, Nomura, Credelia, DCB Bank, Aditya Birla, Motilal Oswal, Decathlon, ITC, Wipro, Opus were there in the campus also many more companies has came into our campus. The additional point is the placement was started very earlier as I got placed before Diwali in the month of October and had joined the coporate in the month of December so this was very best experience for getting placed earlier and working in the corporate.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course actually good in the future aspects and my college is affiliated with pune university so relevancy is good .the syllabus prepares us well in terms of the curriculum . But sometime the college is not finished with the syllabus and it can sometimes challenging for the students

I choose this college because it is a teir 1 college with excellent ranking and their placement percentage, although is was also checking for other colleges I compared their placement percentage, ranking and students development program but they were not that good as compare to PCCOE. I don't get rejected by any college because I never applied for other colleges PCCOE was my only choice and I got selected in 1st round only. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

I came to PCCOE because it offered me the best balance. Most students come to the college through the MHT-CET. There is a 10% bracket open for JEE students as well but I personally came from MHT-CET. In MHTCET, cutoffs can go as high as 99 percentile for CS/IT branches. For my branch, cutoff was 97 and it has increased since. I chose this place becasue it provided a good balance for my working environment. There is also a certain percentage alloted to management students costing anywhere from 10 lakhs to 50 Lakhs depending on the branch for which admission is required. I applied to COEP, PICT, VIT, PCCOE, MMCOE, VIIT, PVG, etc. COEP and PICT were not in my books as my score was too low. I'm glad I didn't get VIT because they merged with VIIT last year and that caused both their average placement as well as average everything to go down. This college proved to be the best bargain between an objectively good college and my marks....Read More
