4

The course requires a compulsory 1 year internship for all the students which must be completed in the current hospital they are working in. The internship includes 3 months of rural posting. In the internship they are alloted to different departments of the hospital for a month duration. By the end of the year all the departments are completed. The stipend provided is 10000 per month

The college hosts mainly 3 big fests throughout the year. Ganesha fest is conducted in September. Freshers fest is conducted usually in November. And Graduation fest is conducted usually in March-April. The fests are a lot of fun and many events are conducted. The fests are conducted by the students only on most occasions. Along with that extracurriculars like sports teams of the college are present like kabaddi, basketball, and badminton. Also the college conducts cricket matches known as APL.

4

Hostels are separate for UG and PG students with separate for girls and boys. The facilities provided in the room are a bed, closet, and separate bathroom for each room. Usually the rooms are 3 sharing. The meals provided in the hostels are not the best but manageable. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner is provided. The fees is 85000 per year

Admission

Admission process is based on the NEET marks and is conducted by KEA. The students must undergo KEA counselling and the seat in alloted to them either in the 1st round, 2nd round or the mop up round. Once the college is alloted the student must report to the college to complete the admission process. All documents are submitted to KEA during document verification.

Faculty

3.5

There are separate faculty members for each subject and they are all well equipped with knowledge and skills. All the teachers are themselves MBBS and MD/MS graduates which help them provide useful insights to us students. There is shortage of staff in some departments but this is circumvented by the way classes are planned by the colleges. Most of the staff are approachable and student friendly. The staff are also involved in some groups like "Student support cells".
