Remarks

Yeah. the timing is very tight. I guess I have slept only for 5 hours daily. So, it has pressure... but its good...

Entrance Preview

Its had good infrastructure and I heard about it a lot. And as per my marks I could get this college only so, this is not my ideal college but yes its good. But study wise and environment wise... I love studying here and I think I see my future clear and bright.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was thinking of taking computer science as my course but as I could get high marks so, I had to take information technology but this is also good. I enjoy studying it and I think next year I will score good and talk to my principal about changing my course to computer science...

Internships Opportunities

I have not got till now ( maybe I am 1st year that' why) but I have heard our seniours talks about the internship. so, I don't have any experience in this question...( i have just written it to make 100 characters)

Placement Experience

4.5

As per internet, colleges posters and seniors I think its pretty good. I have heard this year also 85% students got placements with good packages and in some good company too... so, I guess overall placement and job opportunities of my college is pretty good.

College Events

4

Recently Durga puja and Diwali was celebrated ( as I am from Bihar ) and I didn't go home also so, I stayed there and enjoyed the celebration. And I guess you are not asking about this event but till now I have just witnessed these events so, I wrote about it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty tight for me(middle-class family) .. My father has taken a loan ... So, its 198000 for colleges per year and for mess its 5000 per months and I have taken a room as a rent so, 6500 per months this and then some co-cellular activities in colleges so, it nearly cost me 15000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, there was one but according to entrance exam as I got not so good marks in that so I got no such scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Okay. Campus life is good on a scale of 1 to 10 .. I will give it 9... The gender ratio is very small I will say. Girls are less in number in comparison to boys... Diversity is good. Extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions are not so good they vary in their fields ( according to me).

Hostel Facilities

3

I am not living in a hostel, I have taken PG... but I hear my friends saying who live in hostel .. they say that hostel facilities are somewhat good but hostel food sucks man...it literally sucks...And this is also one my reasons to not live in a hostel and take a PG.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are somewhat helpful not so much. Some are very rude. About alumni, I don't know because I have not met one from this college.

Exam Structure

Exam ! ... I had given some till now and I guess its good. They take everything practical, vivas, and many more ( not like school that just exam) so, I am having some difficulty in exam structure but I am trying my best to cope with it. We have 3 to 4 exams in a year...

Admission

First of all I gave its entrance exam and as per my marks I was called for counseling and there I got to know which college I will be getting and I got this college and then I paid my fees there ( which was pretty high) and then my hostel fees and then mess and in this way I got my admission.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is a bit difficult to understand( as per my view) but they are experienced and they work hard and try there best to explain things to everyone and they are friendly too. So, study environment is cool when we are round some of the teachers and everywhere there are some rude teachers or strict teachers.

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
