Remarks

Yes there are so many good remarks which have already been shared above. Over all you will enjoy your college life, in between you'll get bore at some time but you'll definitely get some refreshments with versatile events.

Entrance Preview

In 2013, when I chose this college there were 3 main reasons behind that. 1. It was in the Gandhinagar city, so the trasprtation from Ahmedabad is too frequent and convenient. 2. At that time it was recently converted to deemed university, so I expected I would definately get good placement. 3. It has 2nd ranked self-financed colllege after Nirma, amd has a very good past record.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The over all course curriculum was well organised, we had almost 6 subjects in each semester and practicals too. They do offer sufficient study hours in the class even the faculties are really very good and helping. The one thing has to be kept in mind from any student ia that you will have to attemd the classes and you'll have to give your best to learn the subjects.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college does not provide internships. Though sometimes some companies do come as per their own requirements, but is also not so often.

Placement Experience

4.5

As every one knows the situation for the core field placements, it is the same in our college. Core fields like, mechanical, civil, electrical engineeres have very poor placements due to the awful market condition. However the placwments for computer, IT and EC fields are very well, almost 100% placements were given in my final year.

College Events

4.5

There are so many events which are being celebrated every year. One of them is our tech fest, Xenesis. It comes probably in march or February in every year. There are numerous technical as well as non technical events have been held in that. So much crowd gathers at that time, you really enjoy that time in the campus. You also get the sports week, in which there are inter branch competition like volly ball, cricket, badminton, Table tennis and many more. We also have one very attractive event called Student of the year, in which there is an athletic event you have to clear to get that title. You would definitely love to give one shot for yourself, for sure. Last there are also one cultural fest is there, in which so many cultural activities like, singing, drama, dance, quize kind of competitions have been held. Other than that there is frequent small small events you will enjoy in your college period.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At my time the fees was 75000 per year, we would have to pay the fees by semester. Installment for one semester was 37500. You will have to pay the fees before the mid exams. They give the deadlines and after that you will have to pay the late penalties. In addition to that the exam fees for each semester would be 775 rupees. Over at that time, it was expensive for middle class students though it is a good investment for any student.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there is fee waiver in my college for first two toppers in the batch in every semester. If you can get the first nd second position in he class you will get your half fees back. And yes, there is general government scholarships have been offered by the college.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is very much lively and chherful. So many young and bright faces. Everyone would be humbke with each other. Extra curriculars are also very good. There are so many other events as well as extra semenars which you ould really enjoy besides your curriculum. The labs and the workshop is well maintained though the machineries in the workshop is old version. We do have soprts facilities inside the campus for cricket, volleyball, TT, and badminton.

Hostel Facilities

5

As I was not the part of the hostel or meas food so I would not be able to give the pure picture. However as per my knowledge we have the lowest price hostel and it is inside the campus so hat is one of the most attractive point. After that the mess food is also not so dull, though the rotis were not so good. but you can survive on that food.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an alumni network handled by our faculties, they do invite every alumnis each year and organise the semenar in which you really get to meet your old friends. Senior students were also very helpful at each stage, thay would guide you also they will share their notes with you.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is almost same as other colleges and it is very particular. There is one mid sem exam in each semester. If you do not pass in the first trial, there would be second chance to clear it. If you do not clear in that attempt than there will be an internal block and you will have to complete it in the next year. For final university exams, there are 70 marks question paper. If you can not clear the final exam in first attemot than you get the second chance in next sem. Howeve if you would not clear the first sem exam till the 4th sem you'll be detained and you will have to do the that year once again. So prepare hard and try to complete in the firat attempt.

Admission

I got 72% in the 12th standard and in JEE main I got 106 marks. On the basis of both of that scores, I got Around 4000 rank in ACPC ranking. In addition to that i was from SEBC quota therefore I easoly got the admission in to this college on my merit basis. However this college only takes the admission as per ACPC guidance only, no private quota is there for any student, that is actually a very handsome point about it.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculties are very worm and well behaved. All will support you through out your curriculum. Even you can have any difficulties exactly before the exam days, they will be there to help you out. Even they would be connected via whattsapp group, you can also clear your doubt on that. They were throughout very well supportive even at the selection of project titles they have been much helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree, wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also, beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects, they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
