- Campus environment: CBIT have huge campus spread across 50 acres filled with lot of trees and greenary which makes it more attractive
- Sports and Extra activities: CBIT give same preference for Sports and other extra activities for it's students same as Studies which makes students build relationships with other students
- Placements : CBIT have decent placements history and promise a good job for it's student who work hard for it .
Dislikes
- Some faculty members: Not all but few faculty members do not help students in any aspects
- Exam schedules : They rush semisters like anything. They do not give proper time for exam preparation
- Lab equipments : Some lab equipments need to be improved
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen ECE as my career course. Mainly VLSI technology has influenced me to choose this course as my career. Coming to course I would give 6 out 10 because it does not provide much syllabus required for real world applications of VLSI technology and curriculum should be improved at theoretical and practical level. Basically exams are conducted after 5 months of start of semester which includes as well .
Internships Opportunities
Our college provide decent internship for students meeting eligibility criteria. Many companies offers internships to our students like Microsoft, Capgemini, Amazon and etc., Recently some students offered internship with huge stipend around 150000 / month by Microsoft.
Placement Experience
CBIT provide decent placements for it's students who work it . I mean not 100% placement but I can say 85% of placements. Average package offered is 4lpa. More than 70 companies visit our college every year placed almost 85 % students. Eligible candidate are from 6th semester. Not only placements CBIT provides future study plans for students who want to pursue abroad studies like preparing them for like IELS, GRE , TOFEL etc.,
Fees and Financial Aid
My college annual tution fee is 140000 not sure if it's the fixed one there may be hike in fee in coming two years according to fee regulation of Telangana. Including tution fee, hostel fee , monthly charges total bill is around ( 250000 - 35000 ) = 215000/Yr . Here excluded 35000 is the scholarship amount we get from government of Telangana.
Campus Life
Yearly our college conducts sports and technical fests which involves series of events performed by students called SHRUTI and SUDHEE. Events include various sports & cultural events. CBIT have good infrastructure and greenary campus spreading over 50 acres. Sports and Studies are given atmost priority for student mental health and physical health.
Hostel Facilities
I stay near PG hostel in kokapet which is around 3km away from my college. Room were maintained clean daily. Coming to food they provide food above our expectations including non veg twice in a week they also have study hall for study purpose
Admission
Firstly, Candidate should be 10+2 passed out in MPC stream to be eligible for course. There is an Entrance exam EAMCET conducted every year for admission into engineering colleges in Telangana. 35% of marks is compulsory to pass in the exam. During admission process we students need to fill forms given by faculty members like feed regulation form admission form etc., then they allot admission numbers according to the ranks secured in entrance exam.
Faculty
The faculty to student ration for CBIT is 1:50. This indicates that we, students get enough staff members to clear our doubts and there are no scarcity of staff in college. CBIT staff are well qualified post graduates or above l high. Coming to teaching they follow certain methodology like technology base learning for students better understanding. I often interact with our faculty for subject concern or about subject related projects and they help me mostly.
