Course Curriculum Overview
The inclusion of courses such as ability enhancement course and generic elective helped me as a student to broaden my knowledge. There used to be monthly conferences on various topics that helped me improve myself as an orator. The classes were very much on time so the amount of break that we got was a bit less. Exams were designed according to average and above average student and had the same topics that our teachers made us focus on.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee didn't increase as much as our college Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College comes under Central University. Yes more of our money was spent on the tasty food that is being made in our college canteen. There are seperate scholarships for Sikh Students and students who have topped all the three years of their graduation.
Campus Life
There is annual fest ' Lashkara ' which is organised at the end of the year near December and January. The college gets crowded there are stalls everywhere inside the college. The Mata Gujri Library is really spacious and has 3 floors and each floor is packed with numerous journals. The class room is provided with a projector, one white board, on black board. All the classroom are equipped with ac's. Talking about sports there are international level players that come to the college one of them is Amoj Jacob. Manjot Kalra, India U-19 player is also a student of S.G.T.B Khalsa College.
Admission
You should have passed 12th class ( Science Stream ). The application form is available on the Delhi University website. The application fees is minimal. No I didn't avail any reservation benefits as I'm in the general category. Exams were conducted according to the CBCS system which is the Choice Based Credit System. There is no improvement required as the admission happens on the basis of your CUET score.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was 1:45 Learning experience was great as we were assessed weekly and if not weekly then orally. Most of the faculties had cleared exams such as CSIR-NET, GATE and most of them were PhD holders. We could interact with the teachers whenever we wanted to ask any doubt.
