Remarks

Good point is freedom given to students. SVNIT doesnot beleive in tourchering students. They are given nice freedom to enjoy and the bad point is politics going on in departments and faculty members.

Entrance Preview

I gave Common entrannce test conducted by SVNIT itself. I had gotten 175/250 in that exam. Then I choose to do M.Sc in Physics because basic science is a good field to go with and it is not common like B.tech.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and Faculty is also good. But it would be great if you would not stay dependent on them as they use to stay very much busy with their research. Taking up individual study is suggested.

Internships Opportunities

It was horrible because i had done one under cambridge university' scientist st IISER Kolkata. He was the top mark of the brilliance and I was an fresher so it was damn tough for me to survive in that extremely geeeky environment.

Placement Experience

They are good. Lot's of students are even placed in Airforce as well.

Yes for SC/ST students some scholarship is there.

Campus Life

SVNIT encourages female education so gender ratio is quite good as it should be. Labs are well equiped, Sports is littlebit underestimated and workshops on Robotics are conducted on a quite frequent basis.

Hostel Facilities

Being a central govt. university lodging and boarding facilities are quite good as compared to other universities. Fees are also quite reasonable and I would give 3.5/5 for mess food.

I choosee this couse due to the high value of this course . As in our next future microbiology is the world next innovative work . After covid -19 the worls focuses on the microbial world, The curriculum preapres us for the mini microbial microorangmins and how to be aware of it, how its wide spread etc like viruses. Areas like rural and villages should have govermen colleges which provieds better education + high relevent courses and oppurtinities. The frequency and timimg of exams are muvh releifable as first internal theory exams are taken then internal practical exams are taken according after one month same fpr external exams . Normally we do not face timing difficulties in exams.

Placement Experience:

Many forensics labs and some government agencies which deals in it are the ones that provides us jobs after pursuing Forensic Science degrees. On and average the initial salary is 5-6 lakhs a year if you are passed out from NFSU.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. But in our field only few companies are visited and that are also with low package so I recommend not to choose microbiology if you are not interested in doing phd.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
