Likes

I liked campus of Nirma University the most. It is vast and beautiful with nature's touch.
I also liked people and environment of Nirma which includes students from different fields like Law, Engineering, Pharmacy and many more.
I also liked Computer Labs of Nirma University. Labs have latest updated high tech computers.

Dislikes

I didn't like timings of Nirma University for students.
I am not satisfied with the Events held in Nirma University. They are good but not the best.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum as quite good overall. It covers most of the important topics that students need to know. However, some parts could be updated to be more in line with current trends and real-world applications.

Internships Opportunities

Some companies offers internships to selected students after 3rd year in B.Tech course. They include TCS, Infosis, Goldman Sachs, Google, Samsung and many more. The students who don't get this internship can apply by itself in other companies also.

Placement Experience

Nirma University helps to get enough placement for B.Tech course. Average package for Computer science field is upto twelve lakhs per annum which is satisfactory. You can also get better placement according to your performance in interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for B.Tech in Nirma University is two lakhs fifteen thousand and they provide scholarships if student has scored top ranking in his/her field. It is quite affordable for students who are pursuing B.Tech course.

Campus Life

Campus life at Nirma University is pretty enjoyable. There are lots of clubs to join, which makes it easy to meet new people and have fun. The social scene is lively with many events and activities. The infrastructure is good, with well-maintained buildings, libraries, and sports facilities.

Admission

Admission in Nirma is done by either ACPC or JEE. If you want to take admission by JEE, you have to fill a seperate form which is available in college's official website. You can also take admission through NRI quota.

Faculty

Faculty in Nirma University is good. They have all required qualifications which are necessary and enough for being a certified professor. They are not that much supportive but they are excellent in teaching.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Placement was not good at all!. There are only internships provided and only those students can archive the good placement who have good relations with our principal. This this was litterly not good at all. The amount of internship was unpaid and some are 5k per month!.

Charusat: A dream or a Nightmare

Placement Experience:

About 60 percent of my class is been placed those who have sat in the placement. E-infochip is the one of the company of Ahmedabad who has given the placement offer of 15 lakh to a student and there is a placement cell in my college which does all the procedure of the company. 30 percent students are opting for higher studies , about 60 percent have sat in placement and rest are doing bussiness and government preparation. Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
