This course is about data science and its applications, so those who are passionate about data science can take up this degree program by qualifying the entrance.This course is very well structured because it's introduced by IIT itself. The exams are held in offline mode which enhances its relevance in the industry.

In the 2nd year you are eligible for the internship opportunities provided by the program. IIT Madras has collaboration with certain companies like saint gobain, In22 labs etc . You also get minor as well as major projects in this program which enhances your skills

This course offers internships from 2nd year and placements from 3 year itself. Till now the bs students are not graduated , so there is no data of placements. But it is very relevant in the job market because data science is currently in a boom in the market. After college you could go for masters or PhD orelse you can apply for gate Da paper.

The total fees is approx 367000 rs which is very affordable. There is also scholarship schemes or fee waivers for reserved categories like Sc,St,Obc etc, but there is no fee waivers for general caste. Fees is taken before every semester, subject wise.

As it is an online degree, we are not entitled to stay in the college hostel and do it in offline mode. But yes we have different clubs like finance club , dance club, music club , anime club , eSports club , coding club etc.

Students who have cleared their 12th exam can apply for it. There are two ways of joining it, either you can clear the cutoff of jee mains exam or you can apply for their qualifier exams , which occurs in offline mode. First there would be classes for 1 month , then they will take your test on what you have being taught for 1 month.

We do not face problems regarding faculty-to-student ratio because we get recorded lectures, which can be accessed anytime. Teachers are very experienced as they are the faculties of India's prestigious institutions IIT . Their teaching methodology is also very practical.
