I liked fest of our college. we have three main fest sport fest Infinito , tech fest Celesta and cultural fest Anwesha.
New library that is in building process looks very awesome also our college provides us with computer center with acess to many software that can be useful for students
our campus has also very good faculties that halps student in various things

i choose this course because i wanted to go to tech side and mathmatics computing course provide it. This course has all the required knowledge that is needed for any beginner software engineer to become pro in it.

Internships Opportunities

Our college help us with getting many companies to come for internship oppurtunities for students . Various of them come for technical skills. Our college also provide with research internship and also project under proffesor which can be very useful for students in resume building.

Placement Experience

7th smester students are eligible for campus placement and 5th semester students are eligible for campus internship. From 2024 passout students approx 60% students got placed with average package of 22 lpa.

our college fee structure for b-tech courses for indian students : 1,00,000 tution fee per semester 10.750 acadmic fee for first semester and 6000 from next semesters 6500 hostel fee for first semester and 5000 from next semesters gymkhana fee 5000 transport fee 1500 other resourses fee 14,000

IIT Patna conduct main three fest that are Infinito sport fest in month of october , Celesta tech fest in month of november and Anwesha cultural fest in month of february. we also have various range of books available in our college to help student with their course . also we have various club to keep student engage in co-cuuricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

1st,2nd and 3rd year students get one room with 2 people and for 4th year every students get single room. IIT Patna has 3 boys hostel named Aryabhatta CV Raman and APJ Abdul Kalam ans 1 girl hostel named asima.

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

you have to qualify JEE Mains exam and give JEE Advanced exam and get a good rank to get into IIT Patna. the cut-off during my time was 1,500-15,000 to get admission in our college. You can see more detail cut=off for each branches on josaa website

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio in iit patna college is approx. 1:100 which is quite good. faculties in our college use various approach to teach students and ensure that they understand the topic . Students can interact with faculties and approach them if they need any help in their office they are usually available during their free time

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is not good at all. The avrage package of this college is around 4-5 Lpa. Because this college is new so the placement is not good here. But Our college is trying their best for getting the good placement to student.

Campus placement was good as I came but it is degrading year to year, this year only 30 percent of ece students are placed, no more company of ece core came here ece and cse get same job as no of students increased in my batch 300 and ece 250 thus in 2027 placement will become worst , Upsc, gate, ssc these are end things

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category. In the India Today rankings 2024, it was ranked 9th in the category of colleges. Admission process was very smooth, firstly you apply / registration in B.Sc (CSDA) course.
