Course Curriculum Overview
I choose civil engineering course at BCE bhagalpur because my deep interest in infrastructure development and the long standing reputation of the specific department. The curriculum is quite comprehensive and cover the fundamental subject like strength of material , structure analysis and surveying.
Internships Opportunities
While BCE Bhagalpur does not have a formal system of bringing private companies to the campus for internship it is mandatory for us to complete vocational training during our semester breaks. Most stdents from the civil engineering apply summer internship in bihar government department like the ROAD CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT, WATER RESOURCE DEPARTMENT AND PUBLIC WORK DEPARTMENT.
Placement Experience
Students at BCE BHAGALPUR become eligible for campus placments starting from 7th semester. For the civil engineering branch ,the placement scenario is moderate as most core companiesdo not visit the campus frequently.

Since it is government college under the government of bihar. The fee structure is highly subsidized and very affordable the fee remain almost constant and throughout the 4 year with only a slight variation in first year (due to registration) amd final year ( due to higher exam fee). Campus Life
Campus at BCE Bhgalpur is quite active and provide a good balance between studies and extracurricular activites. The college orginize its annual and cultural festusually in the month of february and march.
Admission
I applied to several other engineering colleges in bihar and neighbouring state, including MIT MUZAFFARPUR AND GAYA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING through the UGEAC process. I choose BCE bhagalpur primarily because it is one of the oldes and most prestigious engineering college in bihar.
Faculty
The faculty- to - student at BCE bhagalpur is approximately 1:40. Most of the permanent faculty member are highly qualified many holding ph.d degree from reputed institute. They are quite approachable and generally help student with their doubt after regular class hours.
Night Life
Nightlife at BCE bhagalpur is primarily centred within the college campus due to strict hostel timing. being a government institute the security is disciplined and student are generally expected to back in their respected hostel by 9:00PM or 10:00PM
