Civil engineering is totally feeling of real world. You can find civil engineering application everywhere like road, transport, environment, river etc. You can do all the practical in the respective laboratory. The exams are generally held on the 6 months interval and question are of moderate level. If you studied whole semester efficiently then you can solve all the end semester question as well as mid semester question.

There are very less internship opportunities provided by college. You have to find internship on you own in any government or private company. In final year you have to do some project work under faculty member. Faculty helps you to find topic on which you want to do project.

The placement of college is average and the average package is 5 lps. Mostly sales company visit here and give the placement. The highest package was 10 lpa last year. In core branch the placement is quite low and most of the student prepared for gate examination from 2 year. I also prepared for gate and joining mtech programme in IIT. The percentage of placement is approx 60% . The company visit here for civil engineering is Ecospace private limited, Captain steel india, Patel engineering limited. For other branch, TCS, Anemo prime, technook etc.

The academic fee of the course is quite low. In 4 years, total 13000 rupees have to paid but exam fee is little high, every semester you have to pay 3700 rupees if you are obc Or general and if you are SC/ST then you havee to pay 700 only. There is big difference between these two fee. But one advantage of obc and Sc/st student is post matric scholarship. Every year you get benefit of scholarship of approx 20000 rupees provided by state government. But there is no any scholarship for general or ews students. You have to pay 9500 as one year hostel fee excluding mess charge. Lastly, placement are average, in core branch quite few company visit. Mostly sales company come here at average package of 5 lpa. For internship student get 10000 rupees from state government as incentives if they work in govt department.

Every year tech fest are held named as technoriti in the month of february. In tech fest cultural event, sports event, different type of competition also held. On last day DJ night held. Also, on 14 April, ever year cultural program held on the occasion of bhim rao ambedkar ji. All the events are organized by student itself

In first year and second year, sharing room will be provided in new hostel which is newly constructed. From 3rd year room will be alloted on the basis of semester marks. The registration for hostel occurs at the time of admission. If you don't want to live in hostel you can stay outside the campus at ranitalab area. The quality of food in hostel is good. In new hostel the quality of food is better as comparison to old hostel. If you are not interested in hostel mess then you also eat in sagun canteen Or krishna cafeteria in the college campus. The price of per meal is 45 rupees in hostel and 60 rupee in canteen.

You have to qualify jee mains examination and if you don't participate in jee mains then you can give BCECE examination. Generally the application form come in months of may and the application fee are nominal less than 500.If you score more than 80 percentile in jee mains then you can get admission in this college. Here reservation will given as per state govt criteria and the obc caste are divided into EBC and BC. Rest all are same. The level of BCECE examination is moderate and easier than jee mains examination.

Here all the faculty of civil engineering department is very helpful and they all are persued Mtech from different IIT and many of the faculty are doing PHD from NIT & IIT. The student to faculty ratio is aprox 6. All the faculty members have different technique of teaching but all faculty are very good in teaching technique.
