Course Curriculum Overview
This course shapes your mind such that you get to see everyday things in an artistic manner. Even though I feel that the syllabus is now outdated, it provides an idea of how the real world functions. If professors can stay upto date to the content I think they can provide with more up to date assignments for the children. If the Student is attentive and is regularly studying everything , there shouldn't be any problem in attempting the exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is minimal and is a great thing for the students who can't afford private universities. Complete cost of the education is around 30k excluding the materials you will have to buy from time to time according to your need. There are several scholarships for the position holders every year. The first 4 students are granted some prize money as a reward. Even though campus doesn't provide us with any placements...professors make sure that they help children get internships and help us to stay up to date by sending necessary notifications to us.
Campus Life
There are several annual fests held in our college depending on the faculty you are in. All the Jamia students are allowed to visit other facilities during these fests. We have a seperate fine arts library in our faculty and you can find almost all the related books here , be it Anatomy or art history. All the classrooms have CCTV cameras and good seperate desks that can be converted into an easel. We have a huge sports complex and sports teams as well. There are no particular clubs as such for the fine arts department. But you can always interact with new people and come up with something of your own.
Admission
There were 3 exams held on the same day for the admission. 2 practical and 1 theory , once you pass those exams you have to fulfil the basic criteria of 50% marks in your +2 . You can find the form details on the college website. Exam is held once every year around may and is a difficult once since there are a lot of people and very few seats.
Faculty
Since there are only 30 students per class and about 3 professors handling the class for the whole semester, I would say it makes the whole learning experience very effective. Professors have their own way to teach, they all are available for the students at almost all times and students can reach out to them whenever they feel like given that students are considerate and cooperative towards them too.
