- Paramekkavu college of arts and science technology college is very good at their academics and they always try to understand from the student's point of view.they would always shows much care to our academical performance.
- Mainly focused on studies at all. Everyone has their chances to show their talents accordingly .
- The classes start from 9 30 am till 3 pm .They also provides an extra hour which is considered as zero hour to do whatever you like .this hour is given for the relaxment of students
Dislikes
- The events conducted in colleges are very rare when it is compared to other colleges.
- They should bring more sports.when it comes to sports they had only cricket and football.even badminton was not trained properly.
- We had to walk about 1.2 Kms daily to return our bus stop. The students who are using public transportation had to mess up to return home.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is a 3 year course. You have exams after each sem (there are 6 semesters). From2024 onwards its a 4 year course. Teachers make us aware about the syllabus. They teach according to the syllabus. They prepare notes and presentations for us. They go through the previous year question papers and give us important topics for studying. That helps students a lot. There are enogh teachers for each courses
Fees and Financial Aid
Its very affordable and any one can join this course . For per semester we had to pay nearly 20000 to 25000. Complete cost for a 3 year bsc computer science takes around 1.5 lakhs .The amount may rise when its a 4 year course.
Campus Life
Number of programs happening are pretty low compared to other colleges where my friends are studying.arts day, during my first year, that too after many postponding. Sports day have cut shortened to one day program. This college basically focuses on academics. Therefore it is hard to get approval for conducting events. It is a ragging free campus. There are many spots inside and outside the campus for relaxing. This campus has a good atmosphere. Faculties here are well qualified and friendly in behavior. A little bit strict but not very strict. This college mainly focuses academics. College events or programs are less. This college has a good and maintained infrastructure. Academicwise, they are wll planned in completing portions and conducting exams
Admission
The student must qualified in 12th HSS examination and there is no entry exam to take admissions in this college. Application fee is below 200rs and the fees for each courses are very different in nature. RESERVATION is valid here especially for the ews, scst students.
Faculty
Here, you will get very friendly teachers.. They are very supportive in our academics as well as in career development. They will give instructions throughout the year for our better future. Teachers are well qualified. They try to complete the portions on time. Conduct exams for assessment of students progress. They will clear our queries during the class. Or we can approach them in intervel time or by call they are available. They give lecture notes, pdf notes, also uses presentation for teaching.
