Course Curriculum Overview
Mbbs course on the whole is controlled by NMC guidelines of India. These guidelines are prepared on the clinical basis which is the best part of it. Whole course of a particular prof is completed in a limited time period so that there will no time wasting of the students and students emphasize on only the clinical part of the studies.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided to each and every student after final prof exams result is declared. Those who are eligible can work as interns in the hospital with the consultants and registrars. Stipend of ?12600 is provided to interns every month. The duration of internship is 12 months which includes all deparments.
Placement Experience
Placements are given by the college every year as hospital MOs, CMOs and as a junior resident you can practice medicine in the hospital. You can apply for this position by giving the exam comducted by the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
On an averge, the admission fee is 10000 per year which is acceptable by all the students. Hostel chargesis around 5000 per year including mess. I don't know about any of the scholarships and financial aids college is providing to students. Stipend is given to interns which is 12600 per month which is far below the daily wager
Campus Life
My overall campus experience is good. The faculty members are easily approachable. Library is well equiped. Sports week is celebrated every year. Annual functions and small seminars, debates, quizes are held in the college every 3-4 month.
Admission
Eligibility for the admission in mbbs is to clear the NEET entrance exam for which you should have physica chemistry and biology in secondary school. There is a huge reservation benefit in this course. But in my opinion the reservation should be removed or reduced to benefit the student who deserve this course.
Faculty
Faculty members of this college are more than sufficient to teach the students of first prof to final prof. All are well educated and are best in their fields. All teachers except few put their best efforts in teaching the students. HODs of all department mentor their departments very well. Teacher student interaction is good and teachers and doctors are easily approachable.
