Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculums extensive coverage of both theoretical and practical aspects of Radiology, including advanced imaging techniques and diagnostic procedures strongly influenced my decision to enroll in this specific course . However, there are few improvements that needed to be done such as introducing core subjects about CT SCAN, MRI and NUCLEAR MEDICINE which would help the student to better understand the physics and machinery of the machines behind as well. Exams are held frequently, term exam as well as presentations before the semester exam are taken which i personally think is better in boosting the confidence of the students. There's a moderate difficulty level of exams which assesses the understanding of students without beind overwhelming.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides internship to students in their own two hospitals, Ramaiah memorial hospital and Ramaiah Medical teaching hospital which is very good as student gets experienced in different modalities. Stipend is not given to students ,but if a voice is raised by students then may be university may take a step for Stipend. Students have to work for research projects during the full internship time who will also be guided by the respective mentor .

Placement Experience

5

You will be eligible for campus placements during internship. Students get plenty of campus placement opportunities during the last six months of internship and the companies that came to our campus are : Omega Healthcare, CD4 Academy, OG health care, Smart-Q, career catalyst hub, Augmedix etc. Mostly the highest package will be around 6-6.5 lac for fresher and around 5lac average.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well the tuition fee has been increased probably might be due to inflation, university funding but there's is no academic reason for it. The complete education fee has been around 5.5 lacs for four years, they provide health insurance card to students which provide them financial aid when needed

Campus Life

4.5

Well my overall experience has been very good , students get numerous opportunities to engage with their peers through various socail events, club, organizations etc. There's a annual festival called AKAIRA celebrated in university only which remains for couple of days whose all funding comes from the University and other cultural programs are held in the university. There is a separate library where almost everything is available a student will need. The campus provides a well rounded lifestyle by offering various sports and extracurricular activities such as inter-college as well as intra-college tournaments in various sports activities like cricket, basketball, football, volleyball etc.

Admission

There's no entrance test for admission, one can directly get admission after the 12th, you can directly find everything on the ruas site where you get will get help from the assistant. one can directly call the admission office for the information. The exams are frequent introducing term exams and presentations before the final semester exams. The admission process is good and the fee payment and other things can be done through the student portal easily.

Faculty

3

The Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology program has a faculty of only three members. Considering the high annual fees, the teaching approach and mentorship are inadequate. Despite mentions of mentorship, it was neither implemented nor given any attention.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Scaler School of Technology is one of the key reasons. I chose this program. The projects and assignments are very practical and similar real start-up-like curriculum prepares a well for job roles in the top deck. Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best part of Scaler School of Technology is its course and curriculum. The subjects we learn are very useful and match what tech companies are looking for today. Unlike other colleges, we don’t study topics like physics or chemistry that aren’t needed for computer science. Instead, we learn about things like blockchain, cybersecurity, machine learning, mechatronics, and more. This helps us keep up with the latest technology. Even though the schedule can be a bit busy, it’s worth it because we learn a lot. We always bring our laptops to class, which makes learning more practical . The curriculum and teaching style are already well-planned, and if anything needs to change, they fix it quickly . We have mid-term exams every 1.5 month and final exams every 3 months, which helps us stay on track.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is prepared for us, it does not feel like we are ready yet (im in first year) we need need a tad more time and depth in areas like DSA for interviews. the exam frequency is high, timings feel rushed into, specially with how difficult the exam is. more exams are application and concept-based, they are designed to test your 100% knowledge of the subject being taught.
