- DU is renowned for the colleges and their faculty, Especially for Chemistry. They have created good number of reaserchers and Professors
- The faculty of my department and the Lab facilities had boosted my knowledge about my course and my equipments which will benifit my mastership
- As i had opted for Hansraj College i had hoped for great exposure and cultural exchange. Which i had recieved from past 3 years. Also the charecter growth had given from classes has been real plus for me.
Dislikes
- In Hansraj College you will feel a sort of dictatorship from college principal and the management. They are not at all open minded and they will disturb every event.
- Expected to have more fests and other activities done under University which i got to experience is very few. That i see as a huge downgrade
- The departmebt faculties are more into academics, don't support other curriculams and there are many old faculties to be changed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was good. It helps to prepare for other competative exams like IIT-JAM, Gate and CUET PG, etc. Very comprehensive one. Laboratory works need to imoroved and one to one interaction with student should introduce.
Internships Opportunities
They have internship cells and campus placement cells.Some clubs also provide internships. As i was science student i couldn't experience much. But we can work under somw professors for the experience. Which is good for CV
Fees and Financial Aid
Considering the fee structure Hansraj college demands more fee than any other college. I have to pay around 80k for my 3 year graduation but if I was in other colleges i just need to pay around 60k or less. Hansraj colleg use this fee for only their maintenance and there is nothing more worth things to experience for this high fees. They provide fee deduction around 2-3 students from every department and the fee deduction will be fixed after the interview we give to department.
Campus Life
Hansraj College have good campus space and much appreciated library. The only thing which i felt worth was Hansraj college Library. Good infrastructure overall. Well maintained to the single leaf. But the labs was not maintained and canteen also. They had indroduced new buildinga also recently. Overall decent.
Admission
The admission procedure was really good. I took my admisison at the time of covid and all the procedures were done in online. Which was very effecfive too.All document verification was done online. At the time of my admisison Cuet UG for DU was not there.The admission was based on merit based and i got into Venky college for my 1st cut off and into hansraj in 2nd cut off
Faculty
As in Chemistry Department we have 3 different of Core as in Physical Chemistry, Organic and inorganic Chemistry. The not that old teachers have a great technique to teach and to approach to the students. Yes they support your goals also other than in same stream. As of my experience physical department teachers are more rough to students. Most of them are old and they won't change their mind and rude to students
