- one of thing i most appreciate is most is the flexible attendance. the labs are nice . it has plenty of pg available near it
- they have many canteen and the food is pretty decent . The classrooms have ac . The society are nice it has nice coding culture , the events conducted are also great
- The fest was also great this year . The seniors at my college are incredibly supportive . The overall placement is nice
Dislikes
- The location is pretty far from the nearest metro it has poor connectivity . The area around it also not much safe their has been news of stealing in daylight
- Their not much sport available to play specially when i comes to indoor their is hardly something available , or most times its locked out.
- It has way too many branches for cs which increases the competition for placement
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculam followed in first year was old in our time they taught us mechanical subjects and also physics chemistry . Their was only 1 programming languae for the first year so i felt the curriculam could have been better and updated with more techinal subjects . The curriculam should have more technical subjest in 1st year rather replacing few subjects , their should be more of practical learning and learning through examples and learning to code while making a projects , methods likle that should be opted in my suggestion. The frequency were pretty high in first year as our semester was of 4 months each so it was exams back to back and exam level was normal.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees they charged were 60k during ggsipu counselling and 1,13,900 rs in for whole first year . I was in defence background so i applied for some scholrships and it was appliable only for defence catagory .
Campus Life
The fest are nice the celebrity were nice and it also has several techinal fest which are great and we get lot to learn from it their are many workshops held you also get you attendence to attend those workshops. The libaray have all section and have nice book for each subjects . The classrom are nice with ac. The sports is not so well availble . Their is vollyball , basket ball available also indoor table tennis and badminton court which are locked msot times
Admission
Their are lots of course in CS it has lots of branches . You can find the application form ggsipu offical website you can fill your form for counselling it is done on jee rank basis . Application fees is around 60k rs and dates is around month of june jully , keep checking ggsipu website for more info. I was in delhi defence catagory so i got CST in 2.6 lakh jee rank. and cut off it branches for genral was near 80-90k . The admission process is very slow the college also starts late compared to other colleges
Faculty
The student faculty ratio in class is always okay cause most days not everyone comes to college so their are always seat empty . The faculty are nice their approach to teach was also great . The mentorship is also the our assigend mentor listend to any problems we faced in the college and they were very helpful . We can interact with out mentor anyday either we can directly go to their cabin or we can also messege them online , in emergency .
